Abstract
<B><MU>PROCESSO DE FUNDIçãO DIRETA PARA PRODUZIR METAIS A PARTIR DE MATERIAL DE ALIMENTAçãO METALìFERO E VASO QUE PRODUZ METAL A PARTIR DO MESMO<MV><D> Expõe-se um processo de fundição direta para produzir metais a partir de material de alimentação metalífero. O processo inclui formar um banho fundido que é dotado de uma camada de metal e uma camada de escória na camada de metal e material de alimentação metalífero injetado fundido na camada de metal. O processo também inclui gerar um fluxo de gás ascendente a partir da camada de metal que arrasta metal fundido que está na camada de metal e transporta o metal fundido para dentro da camada de escória e forma uma região de turbulência pelo menos na interface da camada de escória e da camada de metal. O processo também inclui injetar um gás dentro da camada de escória por intermédio de uma pluralidade de lanças/algaravizes e gerar turbulência em uma região superior da camada de escória e projetar respingos, gotículas e correntes de material fundido proveniente da camada de escória para o espaço superior do vaso que fica situado acima da camada de escória.
