Abstract

"APARELHO ACOPLADOR FLEXìVEL" Um aparelho acoplador flexível para a junção de componentes de sistema de descarga sucessivos em um sistema de descarga para um veículo. Um tubo de revestimento interno é recebido de forma concêntrica por um tubo de revestimento externo. Um membro espaçador de absorção de vibração, não vedante, substancialmente poroso é arranjado entre os tubos de revestimento. O membro espaçador é não vedante a fim de impedir a deterioração ao mesmo tempo que minimiza a interferência no movimento alternativo e na articulação do tubos de revestimento. Um membro de vedação resiliente, flexível, como por exemplo um fole, conecta de forma mecânica e vedante os tubos de revestimento em suas extremidades não sobrepostas distantes, a fim de impedir o vazamento dos gases de exaustão. Os tubo de revestimento e o membro espaçador são providos com uma configuração não circular, de preferência poligonal ou em lóbulo, em seção transversal, a fim de oferecer proteção ao fole contra as forças torcionais a serem propagadas a partir de um dos componentes de sistema de descarga, um em direção ao outro.
