Abstract

"SUBSTRATOS DE BASE PARA CORREIAS REVESTIDAS" Trata-se de uma correia sem fim impregnada por resina para uma prensa com região de garra longa ou calandra do tipo sapata, ou para outras aplicações de fabricação de papel e processamento de papel, que tem uma estrutura de suporte de base que inclui elementos revestidos que têm um revestimento de um primeiro material de resina polimérica. A própria estrutura de suporte de base pode ser tecida ou trançada a partir de fios entre os quais estão incluídos fios revestidos. A estrutura de suporte de base também pode ser uma tira de tecido enrolado em espiral que tem uma série de voltas não sobrepostas que se encostam unidas ao longo de uma costura contínua. Ainda, a estrutura de suporte de base pode ser uma estrutura laminada que tenha mais de uma camada, sendo que cada uma das camadas ou é uma estrutura enrolada em espiral, tecida ou trançada e cada uma inclui fios revestidos que têm um revestimento de um primeiro material de resina polimérica. A estrutura de suporte de base está na forma de um laço sem fim, sendo que pelo menos uma das superfícies interna e externa é revestida com um segundo material de resina polimérica. O segundo material de resina polimérica impregna a estrutura da estrutura de suporte de base, tornando-a impermeável a óleo e água. O primeiro e o segundo materiais de resina polimérica têm uma afinidade um pelo outro, de tal modo que o revestimento de segundo material de resina polimérica na estrutura de suporte de base coo um todo estabelece um intertravamento químico, bem como mecânico com os fios revestidos tendo o revestimento do primeiro material de resina polimérica.
