Методът за пречистване на цветен прашец от механични примеси, спори и микроорганизми включва засмукване на замърсения цветен прашец (1) във въздушен поток, преминаващ през сито от изолационен материал (2). Пречистеният цветен прашец (3) пада във филтър (6), а прахът (5) полепва по ситото (2). Устройството за пречистване на цветен прашец се състои от разположени последователно поне едно сито (2) с дроселна клапа (8) и засмукващо звено (7) с филтър (6).
