Abstract

The material is used in laying heat insulation plasters over concrete, brickwork and stonework masonry, in building floor heating and for making prefabricated building panels in the forms of slabs or blocks. It improves the heat insulation capability in comparison with the known material based on pearlite with cement and lime as binders. The mortar produced from the said material is elastic, soft and can easily be applied on the base without any loss of material. The heat insulation building material comprises pearlite, cement and additionally includes re-dispersible powder polymer and cellulose ether, in the following ratio of the components, in wt.%: ground pearlite of 0-0.5 grain size distribution from 57 to 60, cement from 37 to 40, re-dispersible powder polymer from 2 to 3 and cellulose ether 0.2-0.3. 2 claims
