Abstract

The invention relates to large-sized high tensile resistant ground gratings, to a method and device for their manufacture, as well as to their application as drainage and reinforcement gratings and as fences. By the method continuous manufacture of large-size ground gratings is made from crossed thermoplastic rods, which in their crossing points are interconnected by welding and fitting of single-layer homogenous, molecule-orientated high tensile resistant plastic rods. Multiplicity of sections of crossing fitted one behind another or one next to each other, in compatibility with the pitch in the method, are welded simultaneously with the application of a vibration method. The invention also relates to the application and improvement of a device for vibration welding, containing at least one vibration-oscillation device by which at least 100 crossing sections, preferably up to 500 can be welded simultaneously. 20 claims
