Abstract
The canal with a built-in control network, hydraulic orientation and a system controlling the penetration by the three-coordinate trajectory to a point unacceptable by a straight line with minimum effect on the environment can be used in microsurgery, diagnostics, anatomy research, as well as for observation and effect on states of objects confined in closed space. The canal includes three coaxially fitted pipes one inside the other. The innermost central pipe is the operational canal for visual and surgical intervention. The second pipe over it has a controllable conversion from solid to plastic state, and at its beginning it is fitted on a flange and is turned outwards covering the beginning of the third leading pipe. The latter, by its front end, direct the conversion, and by its rear end is connected to the body of a hydraulic cylinder aross the piston of which pass the first and the second pipe. The latter is sealed by an elastic ring to the piston so that the piston pressure on the lubricant in the cylinder transports it in the form of a lubrication film between the second and the third pipe to the front of the canal where the controllable pipe is turned outwards. The process of its turning in a preset direction is effected by controlling the pressure and the plastification along longitudinal strips in the wall of the controllable pipe. 10 claims, 8 figures
