Abstract
The switch is made up of two parts: a microswitch and a horizontally mounted 'U'-shaped sprung bracket which is held open by a wedge under normal conditions. The arms of the 'U' act on the arm of the microswitch. In the event of impact the wedge is thrown out from between the arms of the 'U', allowing the arms to close together. - The microswitch is held normally closed when the wedge is in place and springs to the open position when the wedge is ejected. The microswitch is connected in the ignition system of petrol driven vehicles,icels, and to a solenoid in the fuel supply line of a diesel engine.
Description
Fonctionnement : Lors du déplacement du galet, le contact normalement fermé du micro SWITCH en série avec la bobine d'allumage s'ouvre. Le moteur s'arrête (le micro contact agissant comme la clef de contact) . Simultanément le circuit batterie est coupé. De ce fait, il n'y a plus de masse. Donc coupure totale ce toute l'instalation élèctrique du véhicule.
Pour remettre en route, il suffit de replacer le galet en position. Le contact du SWITCH se ferme et rétablit le circuit normalement.
Montage : Pour rappel, le montage de l'appareil se monte en série avec la borne de la batterie reliant celle-ci à la masse. Installer le dispositif fortement solidaire de la carrosserie l'aide du boulon de fixation.
Raccorder selon le plan le circuit batterie.
Faire passer le courant d'alimentation de l'allumage par le micro SWITCH.
Pour cela, il suffit de débrancher le fil d'arrivée du courant

Remarque : En ce qui concerne les diesels, ceux qui sont équipés de l'arrêt électrique à l'aide de la clef de contact auront automatiquement l'arrêt assuré -en passant par le micro SWITCH
et l'arrêt électrique. Les autres devraient avoir recours à une vanne électromagnétique qui couperait l'alimentation en carburant

Le système de protection du pont de diodes se fait
par coupure du fil d'alimentation de l'excitation de l'alternateur.
Quand le galet est éjecté ou déplacé, il actionne le micro-
SWITCH.
Le contact normalement fermé (NC) en série dans le circuit du
balais côté régulation s'ouvre et coupe l'alimentation de
l'excitation de l'alternateur ( en même temps, il n'y a plus
de masse puisque le courant fourni par la batterie est coupé
au même moment).
Il n'y a donc coupure totale de toute l'instalation électrique
du véhicule.
Pour remettre en route, il suffit de replacer le galet en
position.
Le contact du SWITCH se ferme et rétablit le circuit normalement.
Pour rappel : Le montage de l'appareil se monte en série
avec la borne de la batterie reliant celle-ci
à la masse.
Operation: When the roller is moving, the normally closed contact of the micro SWITCH in series with the ignition coil opens. The engine stops (the micro-contact acting as the ignition key). At the same time the battery circuit is cut. As a result, there is no more mass. So total shutdown of this entire electrical installation of the vehicle.
