Abstract

Le procédé consiste à forger la matière à une température supérieure à la température de transition de la phase bèta, refroidir à une vitesse controlée au travers de la température de transition bèta, chauffer jusqu'à une température d'environ 28 degrés C - 83 degrés C inférieure à la température de transition bèta, refroidir l'alliage à une vitesse dépassant celle produite par refroidissement à l'air et vieillir la matière entre environ 482 degrés C et 593 degrés C. L'invention est par exemple utilisable dans les applications aérospatiales.
