Abstract
Procedimiento para mejorar la tenacidad de chapas de aleación a bases de aluminio, que comprenden los elementos de adición principales siguientes: Zinc = 5,2 a 6,2 % Magnesio = 1,9 a 2,5 % Cobre = 1,2 a 2,9 % Cromo = 0,18 a 0,25 % y las impurezas: Hierro < 0,12 % Silicio < 0,10 % Manganeso < 0,06 % Titanio < 0,06 % obtenidas por las operaciones sucesivas de colada de una placa que tenga la composición indicada, homogeneización, laminado en caliente y a continuación, eventualmente, en frío, finalmente de disolución, de temple y de revenido, caracterizado porque el tratamiento de homogeneización se efectúa, sin tramo preliminar, a una temperatura superior a la de fusión de los eutécticos metaestables durante una duración de 4 a 12 horas, efectuándose la disolución en las condiciones habituales de temperatura y de tiempo.
