Abstract

Decorating panel of sandwich construction which is faced on at least one side with a sheet of thin and/or fragile material is claimed. The panel has a centre core of honeycomb construction or of plastic foam. The core is sandwiched between two outer sheets which are integral with or bonded to the core. The decorative, thin and/or fragile sheet is fixed on with adhesive or cast in place. The decorative sheet may be ceramic, wood, plastic, glass precious metal, mother-of-pearl, etc.
