<EMI ID=1.1>

"Isolation process for any bay closed by a door,
<EMI ID = 1.1>
The present invention relates to the insulation of buildings and relates to an insulation method for any bay closed by a door, a window, a shutter, etc. as well as the device for applying the process.
The invention aims to achieve an excellent seal between a sleeping frame and an opening frame. For this purpose, various joints have already been developed in an appropriate material, such as rubber, plastic or plastic foams, which are fixed either on the frame or on the opening. These seals have a certain effectiveness but have the disadvantage of being deformed in use, until they no longer offer any effectiveness.
Also known, to obtain a seal between a frame and an opening, movable rubber tongues which, while providing some insulation, include more or less complicated mechanisms.
According to the invention it seemed advantageous to create a thermal insulation process, the very high efficiency of which is unalterable in the temple.
The thermal insulation process for any bay closed by a door, window or other movable wall is characterized in that it consists in isolating the frames of the bay by means of tubes made of an expandable material, into which a fluid is injected , liquid or gaseous at the time of closure of the movable part, the pressure on the fluid being removed at the time of the opening of said movable part.
According to the invention the method consists in injecting the fluid from a mounted fluid pump
on one of the elements of the frame and carry out the control, automatic or manual, when the movable wall is closed and opened.
To make the invention easier to understand, this is described below, in more detail, on the basis of the drawings annexed by way of examples only, which show in:
Figure 1 a front view of a window equipped to carry out the insulation process according to the invention; Figure 2 a section through 2-2 of Figure 1:
Figure 3 a section through 3-3 of Figure 1, on a larger scale; Figure 4 a front view on a larger scale of the pump and the control mechanism of the window of Figure 1; Figures 5 and 6 respectively a front view and a plan view from above of a variant of the pump with its own control mechanism.
The drawings show the process applied to a bay closed by a window. In the riser 1 and the crosspieces 2 of the frame are made on the face intended to come into contact with the opening 3
grooves 4, into which is inserted a tube element 5 of expandable material, the section of which is more
or less equivalent to that of the gorges.
The tube element 5 is connected on the inner face of the support crosspiece 2 by a tube 6 to a small fluid pump 7 containing liquid, such
than oil with high frost resistance, or a gas, such as atmospheric air. This pump 7 is fixed to the support crosspiece 2, it can be of deformable material and subjected to contact with a pressure surface, such as 8, automatically controlled by the longitudinal movement of the spider 9 of the window. The pump 7 with its pressure surface 8 is advantageously enclosed in a housing 10.
Instead of being controlled by the window pan, the pressure surface 8 ′ can be subjected to the action of a particular manual lever 11 (FIGS. 5 and 6). In Figure 5 we see the lever in the press position.

broken lines, the same lever in the released position corresponding to the opening of the window.
The grooves can be cut in the frame or come from manufacturing with it. The section of these grooves is such that the flexible tube element, which is inserted therein, comes slightly back from the normal level of the frame in the relaxed position to allow easy opening of the window.
The pump 7 connected to the tube element 5 and containing the fluid, liquid or gaseous, is during the

theagnolette 9 is manually by the appropriate lever 11. The fluid contained in the pump spreads throughout the flexible tube element 5 surrounding the obis-
818 mobile or opening 3 and causes its expansion by ensuring an almost perfect insulation:
The opening of the window is preceded by the expansion of the fluid in the tube element by the release of the pressure on the pump automatically by the operation of the plate 9 or manually by the operation of the lever 11.
The pump 7 has been shown applied in its housing 10 on the support cross member 2 of the frame but, of course, it can be mounted and embedded in an amount of said frame and controlled by a suitable mechanism or lever. It can also be mounted and recessed projecting in one of said uprights to be compressed by the movable frame when the latter is closed but, in the latter case, it will be necessary to overcome the pressure due to the expanded tube element during the opening. mobile hunting.
The method according to the invention applies to any type of movable wall such as doors, windows, vo-
