Abstract

In a series of bipolar cells, the bipolar electrodes are constituted from the cathode of one cell and the anode of a neighbouring cell. The electrodes are of silicon, one surface of the anode being electro - conductive. Pref. the surface contains a material having an over - voltage of 0.125v with a current density of 21.5 A/dm2.
