Cpds. of gen. form.(I) where X = H or halogen R = opt. alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, alkenoxy, alkylmercapto or dioxolanyl-substd. phenyl, naphthyl or dihydrobenzofuranyl; are prepd. by reacting a cpd. (II): with pref. max. 20% excess of a cpd. R-OH in the presence of a diluent and acid-binding agent at pref. 20-40 degrees C. (I) have high insecticidal and acaricidal act. against organisms harmful to plants and hygiene. They have partly fungicidal act. and are active against nematodes and soil insects. (I) have low phytotoxicity and high residual act. on wood and loam as well as high stability on white-washed surfaces.
