Abstract
1444619 Thiophosphate esters CIBA-GEIGY AG 12 Oct 1973 [13 Oct 1972 24 Aug 1973] 47855/73 Heading C2P Novel thiophosphate esters of the formula wherein R 1 is n-propyl, isobutyl, sec-butyl or n-pentyl, R 2 is H, Cl, Br, CN, NO 2 , (C 1 -C 4 alkoxy)carbonyl, or mono- or di-(C 1 -C 4 alkyl)- carbamoyl, R 3 is H, Cl, Br or methyl and X is O or S are obtained by the following methods A, B and C wherein Hal is Cl, Br, F or I and Me is a monovalent metal, e.g. Na or K. The products have pesticidal properties and may be used as active ingredients in conventional pesticidal formulations, which may also contain other insecticides and/or acaricides, e.g. other organic phosphorus compounds, nitrophenols and derivatives thereof, formamidines, ureas, carbamates and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
