Abstract

Open end spinning device has an opening for effecting circulation of fresh air in the device to prevent heating caused by the friction of the thread on the metal, esp. on the funnel of the exit tube. Specif. the fresh air is directed towards the funnel of the exit tube. The opening is provided in the cover for the passage of the belt for operating the sleeve forming part of the fibre separating device. An air circulating space is provided outside the sleeve and apertures are present just below this space for circulating air inside the spinning unit. Openings are present in the spinning turbine so that, after being propelled from the spinning turbine, the air streams are directed towards the exterior by the exit. Arrangement prevents degradation of the textile structure of the thread.
