Cpds. of formula: (where R1 and R2 are H or halogen; R3 is H or Ph) are prepd. by reacting a benzhydrylpiperazine with a beta-R3-cinnamaldehyde in the presence of formic acid. The cpds. also show neuroleptic and analgesic activity.
