Abstract

The laminate contains a support layer of polyester, epoxide or butadiene copolymer with fibrous reinforcement pref. 50-75% of glass, asbestos, metal or organic fibres, an intermediate layer and a synthetic concrete surface layer contg. polyethers and/or polyesters with OH groups with isocyanates and/or epoxide resins, hardeners and other additives. Up to 50% epoxide resin is in the surface layer which is 2-20mm thick and contains 1:6 ratio of additives (quartz, silica, aluminium or iron oxides etc.) of size 0.8-5 mm. The interlayer may contain epoxide resin and has modulus lower than support or surface layers. The laminate is used for tubes or construction panels.
