<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

"Gear handle"
The present invention relates to a handle for a device and, in particular, a sports device, such as a racket, hockey stick, etc.
It is well known that, when maneuvering a machine, the fact of squeezing its handle or handles causes sweating, which has the drawback, in addition to that of the inconvenience resulting from sweating, of requiring the use
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
machine to reinforce its pressure on the handle in order to avoid the rotation of the latter in the hand, this rotation being in fact facilitated by the lack of adhesion between the perspiring hand and the wet handle.
For sports equipment and, in particular, for tennis rackets, the grips, as they are currently designed, require the players to tighten their grip strongly in order to avoid the rotation of the latter at the time of letting go. 'impact of' the ball on the racket, which leads, on the one hand, to fatigue and significant nervous tension on the player and, on the other hand, to imprecision due to the grip of the hand on the grip . It is also well known that it is unpleasant, at low temperature, to handle devices provided with one or more handles.
The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks and to provide a machine handle arranged either so as not to cause perspiration in the hand of the user of the machine, or so as to make it bearable, by low temperature, handling the handle.
To this end, according to the invention, said handle comprises means intended to vary the temperature of said handle when the machine is used.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the aforesaid means are housed in a cavity made in the handle.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, this cavity extends over at least one length corresponding sensibly to the width of a hand.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, perforations are provided in the handle so as to make the outside of the latter communicate with the aforementioned cavity.
