Abstract

The case (1) is for a tooth brush (3) and protects it permanently from dust and external contact. It has a cylindrical part (1) which encloses a spring (7) to eject the tooth brush and a wider part (10) to cover the bristles. The handle (2) of the brush has a button (4) which engages in two holes (5) in the case, at the open and closed position. One extremity of the spring is fixed to the bottom of the case (8) and the other extremity is fixed to the end of the handles (6).

Description

 The present invention relates to cases of toothbrushes, permanently connected to the handle of the brush itself.

Currently, toothbrushes are generally placed in longitudinal and independent cases, formed of two removable parts. We also know the small cases that only wrap the brush itself. In the two aforementioned cases, the cases are most often separated from their brushes by negligence and in fact, get lost quickly.

Known cases also have the disadvantage of not being very functional, which partly explains their abandonment on shelves. The lack of effective protection of toothbrushes and especially> when traveling, is detrimental to hygiene and good preservation of the bristles of the brush.

 The present invention makes it possible to avoid these drawbacks.

Indeed, the brush being always associated with its case, is protected after use and during trips, external contacts and dust. This device can be fun for children and encourage them to own a toothbrush and especially to use it. In addition, the size of the two elements, brush and case, is no more important than a conventional brush with its handle.

 The device which is the subject of the invention comprises a case for a toothbrush entirely enveloping the latter and conforming to its shape. This case, open at the brush end> is provided with an ejection means making it possible to remove the brush and partially the handle, and with a retention means for holding the remaining part of the handle in the case.

 The brush housing itself is pierced with holes to ensure good ventilation of the bristles. The longitudinal and cylindrical part of the case, containing the handle of the brush, is made of rigid material and has a slightly conical shape at the height of the housing to ensure good locking of the handle in the case, when brushing the teeth.

As shown in Figures 1 - 2 and 3, the case comprises a longitudinal part 1 containing the handle 2 of the brush 3, properly speaking. Said handle 2 has a retention button 4 which is housed in the closed position in a hole 5 in part 1.

The end 6 of the handle 2 is fixed to a spring 7 and the latter is retained by the end 8 of the part 1. A pressure is exerted on the button 4 which enters in its cellar 9, clearing the hole 5, allowing the spring 7 to relax and eject the brush 3 out of its housing 10. The toothbrush partially released from its housing returns to its initial position by making a U-turn on itself. This rotation had been imposed on him during his storage.

Under the pressure of spring 7, the toothbrush comes out

is retained by the conical part 1 of the case and the button 4 is
lodged in the hole It blocks the brush in the rotating direction and

To store the toothbrush after use, pressure

Holes 12 distributed over part 1 and housing 10 allow
good ventilation of the toothbrush. Button 4 (figure 3)
positioned in the cavity 9 is constantly kept under pressure
via a small spring 13.

According to Figures 4 and 5, the longitudinal part of the case carries a locking means constituted by a button 14 pivoting on an axis 15. Said axis 15 is provided with a spring 16 which keeps the button 15 in the closed position. This button 15 has a stop 17 which is housed in the holes 18 or 19 of the handle 2 depending on whether the brush 3 is out or in its case.

According to a manual embodiment (Figure 6), the handle 2 has a lug 20 sliding in a longitudinal slot 21 of the case. The end of the slot 21, close to the brush 3, is extended by a slot 22, perpendicular forming a semicircle making it possible to rotate the brush 3> with the lug before use.

The other end of the slot 21 ends in a small perpendicular slot 23 to block the lug in order to keep the toothbrush in the case after use.

 According to Figure 7, the handle 2 of the brush 3 can be pushed by a spring 7 to facilitate the movement of the lug 20 in the slot 21. A cap 24 is provided to close the housing 10 using a tongue 25 and a wart 26.

The device, object of the present, can be applied to cases of various shapes according to tastes and needs.

 The invention can be used very particularly for toothbrushes.
