   L'invention se rapporte à un bottier en matière élastique, par exemple en matière thermoplastique, destine à des appareils électriques, en particulier à un bottier pour montage encastré, dans lequel le couvercle de l'appareil est introduit dans le boîtier et vient reposer sur un rebord inté- rieur de la paroi du boîtier. Le couvercle est utilisé pour protéger 1'appareil qui se trouve dans le boîtier, les pièces   nécessaires   pour   la   manoeuvre de l'appareil traversant le cou- vercle. Jusque ici le couvercle était maintenu dans le bottier au moyen de vis ou d'autres dispositifs de fixation.

   Suivant l'invention, le couvercle est maintenu en place au moyen d'un système de calage qui peut se déformer par suite de   1 élasticité   de la paroi du boîtier. L'invention permet ainsi une fixation simple, bon marché et rapide du couvercle sans avoir besoin de pièces supplémentaires. 



   L'invention est représentée par le dessin. Les figu- res 1 et2 montrent une coupe et une vue en plan d'un boîtier en matière   isolante.   



   Le boîtier en matière isolante représenté par le   dessin   est un bottier pour montage encastré, dans lequel on peut placer des appareils électriques. Le bottier 1 est en matière plastique souple. Il peut également être fabriqué en une autre matière élastique. A l'intérieur du boîtier on place un couvercle 2 en matière isolante, qui vient reposer sur un rebord intérieur 3 de la paroi du bottier, Suivant l'invention, le couvercle est maintenu en place au moyen d'un système de calage qui peut se déformer par suite de l'élasticité de la paroi du boîtier. Ce résultat est avantageusement obtenu en   prévoyait   des ergots en saillie 4 sur la paroi intérieure du boîtier. Suivant l'invention on utilise l'élasticité de la paroi du bottier pour assurer le maintien en place du couvercle. 



  Pour introduire le couvercle dans le boîtier, on commence   d'ab,ord   par venir loger un de ses côtés dans l'intervalle entre le rebord intérieur 3 et les ergots en saillie 4. 



  Ensuite, comme le montre la figure 1 on repousse l'autre côté du couvercle au delà des ergots 4 pour le caler en place. Pour enlever le couvercle, on se sert d'un outil approprié. La paroi du boîtier est déformée élastiquement d'une manière suffisante pour permettre au couvercle de passer au dessus des ergots en saillie   et)de   pouvoir ainsi être enlevé.
