"Dispositif pour l'impression d'un ruban"
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif pour l'impression d'un ruban présenté en rouleau.
Les rubans imprimés utilisés pour l'emballage, le marquage, etc, présentent l'inconvénient de devoir être imprimés en grande quantité afin de pouvoir être vendus à des prix abordables. Les entreprises utilisant, en faible quantité, les rubans susdits sont donc obligées soit d'acheter un métrage de ruban excédant leurs besoins, soit d'acheter ces rubans à des prix prohibitif s.

.L'invention'a pour but de remédier à cet inconvénient et à procurer un dispositif.permettant d'imprimer les rubans au fur et à mesure de leur utilisation.
A cet effet, suivant l'invention, le dispositif est associé à un dévidoir, dans lequel est placé le rouleau de ruban, et comprend un rouleau d'impression entraîné par le ruban lors de son déroulement et destiné à imprimer ce ruban au fur et à mesure de'son utilisation, ledit dispositif comprenant également des moyens pour maintenir le ruban en contact avec le rouleau d'impression et des moyens pour l'encrage de ce dernier.
Suivant une forme de réalisation avantageuse de l'invention, le ruban susdit est un ruban,adhésif transparent.
Suivant une forme de réalisation particulièrement avantageuse de l'invention, le rouleau d'impression est monté dans ledit dispositif de manière à entrer en contact avec'la face adhésive du ruban.
D'autres détails et particularités de l'invention ressortiront de la.descriprion des dessins annexés au présent mémoire et qui représente, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, une forme particulière de réalisation de l'objet de l'invention.
La figure 1 est une vue en élévation, avec brisures partielles, d'un dispositif suivant l'invention, ce dispositif étant associé à un dévidoir de ruban adhésif transparent.
La figure 2 est une vue en coupe, suivant la ligne 11-Il de la figure 1.

Suivant l'invention, le dispositif d'impression 1 susdit est associé à un dévidoir 2 destiné à recevoir un rouleau de ruban adhésif transparent 3. Le dispositif 1 comprend une pièce 4, en forme de U, dans laquelle sont montés un rouleau d'impression.5, un cylindre de pression 6, un cylindre encreur 7 et un encrier 8. La pièce 4 est maintenue dans un évidement 8 ménagé dans les fiasques 9 et dans la plaque de base 10 du dévidoir 2, cettepièce pouvant être dégagée de ce dernier par simple traction suivant la flèche 22.
Les arbres 11,12 et 13 du rouleau d'impression 5, du cylindre de pression 6 et du cylindre encreur 7 ont leurs extrémités logées dans 'me rainure 14 ménagée dans chacune des ailes 15 de la pièce 4, cette dernière étant montée dans le dévidoir de manière à ce que les arbres susdits soient sensiblement parallèles à l'axe de l'arbre 16 du dévidoir supportant le rouleau 3 de ruban, les rainures 14 étant ménagées de manière à ce que les arbres 11, 12 et 13 puissent se déplacer parallèlement à l'axe dudit arbre 16. Le rouleau d'impression 5, garni d'un cliché amovible 17 en'caoutchouc , est disposé entre le cylindre de pression et le cylindre encreur, l'arbre 13 de ce dernier reposant à l'extrémité .inférieure des rainures 14. Le rouleau d'impression 5 et les cylindres 6 et 7 tournent autour de leur arbre.
Ces arbres sont, à chacune de leur extrémité et sur une faible longueur, de section carrée de manière à être correctement maintenus et guidés par les bords 18 des rainures 14. La pression des cylindres 6 et 7 sur le rouleau d'impression peur être réglée grâce à un ressort à boudin 19 disposé dans chacune des rainures 14. Chacun des ressorts 19 s'appuie, d'une part, sur l'arbre 12 du cylindre de pression 6 et, d!autre part, sur un organe 20 prévu dans chacune des rainures 14. La tension des resdorts

est réglée en déplaçant les organes 20 dans les rainures 14, ces derniers étant immobilisés, dans la position désirée, par une vis de pression 21.
Les organes 20 peuvent être enlevés des rainures 14 afin de pouvoir dégager, de la pièce 4, les cylindres 6 et 7 et le rouleau d'impression 5, par exemple, pour leur nettoyage.
Pour dévider le ruban adhésif, l'extrémité libre 23 de ce dernier est introduite entre le rouleau d'impression 5 et le cylindre de pression 6 du dispositif 1. Lorsque l'on désire utiliser une portion de ce ruban, une traction effectuée, suivant la flèche 24, sur l'extrémité libre 23 de ce dernier dévide ledit ruban du rouleau 3, le ruban,en défilant dans le dispositif 1, entraîne, par fricti et suivant les flèches
25 et 26, le rouleau d'impression 5 et le cylindre de pression 6 le cylindre encreur étant lui-même entraîné, par frictio et suivant la flèche 27, par le rouleau d'impression 5. Le passage du ruban dans le dispositif permet d'imprimer automatiquement et au fur et à mesure des besoins les portions de ruban désirées.
Un bord de coupe 29 est prévu sur le dévidoir pour faciliter le sectionnement du ruban.
Le rouleau d'impression 5 est disposé de manière à entrer en contact avec la face adhésive 28 du ruban. Le fait d'imprimer la face adhésive du ruban offre le grand avantage de .rendre l'impression inaltérable lorsque le ruban est fixé sur un support.
Il doit être entendu que l'invention n'est nullement limitée à la forme de réalisation décrite et que bien des modi- fications peuvent être apportées à cette dernière sans sortir du cadre du présent brevet.

The present invention relates to a device for printing a ribbon presented on a roll.

Companies using the aforementioned tapes in small quantities are therefore obliged either to purchase an amount of tape in excess of their needs, or to purchase these tapes at prohibitive prices.

The aim of the invention is to overcome this drawback and to provide a device allowing the ribbons to be printed as they are used.
To this end, according to the invention, the device is associated with a dispenser, in which is placed the roll of tape, and comprises a printing roller driven by the tape during its unwinding and intended to print this tape as it goes. as it is used, said device also comprising means for maintaining the ribbon in contact with the printing roller and means for inking the latter.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the aforesaid tape is a transparent adhesive tape.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the printing roller is mounted in said device so as to come into contact with the adhesive face of the tape.

According to the invention, the aforementioned printing device 1 is associated with a reel 2 intended to receive a roll of transparent adhesive tape 3. The device 1 comprises a part 4, in the form of a U, in which a roll of tape is mounted. impression.5, a pressure cylinder 6, an inking cylinder 7 and an inkwell 8. The part 4 is held in a recess 8 made in the flasks 9 and in the base plate 10 of the dispenser 2, this part being able to be released from this last by simple pulling following arrow 22.
The shafts 11, 12 and 13 of the printing roller 5, of the pressure cylinder 6 and of the inking cylinder 7 have their ends housed in 'me groove 14 made in each of the wings 15 of the part 4, the latter being mounted in the reel so that the aforementioned shafts are substantially parallel to the axis of the shaft 16 of the reel supporting the roll 3 of tape, the grooves 14 being formed so that the shafts 11, 12 and 13 can move parallel to the axis of said shaft 16. The printing roller 5, fitted with a removable rubber cliché 17, is arranged between the pressure cylinder and the inking cylinder, the shaft 13 of the latter resting on the lower end of the grooves 14. The printing roller 5 and the cylinders 6 and 7 rotate around their shaft.
These shafts are, at each of their end and over a short length, of square section so as to be properly maintained and guided by the edges 18 of the grooves 14. The pressure of the cylinders 6 and 7 on the printing roller can be adjusted. thanks to a coil spring 19 disposed in each of the grooves 14. Each of the springs 19 rests, on the one hand, on the shaft 12 of the pressure cylinder 6 and, on the other hand, on a member 20 provided in each of the grooves 14. The tension of the springs

is adjusted by moving the members 20 in the grooves 14, the latter being immobilized, in the desired position, by a pressure screw 21.
The members 20 can be removed from the grooves 14 in order to be able to release, from the part 4, the cylinders 6 and 7 and the printing roller 5, for example, for their cleaning.
To unwind the adhesive tape, the free end 23 of the latter is inserted between the printing roller 5 and the pressure cylinder 6 of the device 1. When it is desired to use a portion of this tape, a pulling effect, according to the arrow 24, on the free end 23 of the latter unwinds said tape from the roll 3, the tape, passing through the device 1, drives, by fricti and following the arrows
25 and 26, the printing roller 5 and the pressure cylinder 6, the inking cylinder itself being driven, by frictio and according to the arrow 27, by the printing roller 5. The passage of the ribbon through the device allows '' automatically print the desired portions of ribbon as and when required.
A cutting edge 29 is provided on the reel to facilitate severing of the tape.
The printing roller 5 is arranged so as to come into contact with the adhesive face 28 of the tape. The fact of printing the adhesive side of the ribbon offers the great advantage of rendering the impression unalterable when the ribbon is fixed on a support.
It should be understood that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described and that many modifications can be made to the latter without departing from the scope of the present patent.
