<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

% Process for the realization of ceilings "
The present invention relates to a process for the production of concrete ceilings.
The production of concrete ceilings according to the usual method has various drawbacks. Indeed, these ceilings, obtained in several operations such as installation of formwork, pouring of concrete, removal of the formwork after complete pricing of said concrete, plastering, require an increasingly rare specialized workforce and, due to the diversity of the aforementioned operations and the duration thereof, significantly
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
the construction budget.
The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks and to provide a method for producing ceilings which makes it possible to considerably simplify the aforesaid operations and to avoid the use of specialized labor for the ceilings. The method according to the invention also makes it possible to significantly improve the hardness of the concrete as well as the thermal and acoustic insulation qualities of the ceilings.
To this end, according to the invention, the method combines with pouring said concrete on panels used as permanent shuttering, the visible face of these panels constituting the ', finishing face of said ceiling.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the insulating material plates are arranged on the aforesaid panels and are made integral with the latter, for example by gluing.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the material constituting the aforementioned panels and plates have an expansion coefficient corresponding substantially to that of concrete.
The invention also relates to a formwork process for producing concrete ceilings cast in a permanent formwork consisting of panels whose visible face is the finishing face of the ceiling.
The invention aims to provide an easily usable formwork and quickly put in place whatever the dimensions of the ceiling to be produced, this formwork also having the advantage of allowing ventilation of the lost formwork constituted by the aforementioned panels.
To this end, according to the invention, the method consists in supporting the aforementioned panels using battens
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
substantially parallel, arranged at a certain distance from one another and supported transversely by crossbars placed on these struts.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the aforesaid battens are arranged on the edge and assembled so as to constitute formwork elements, each of these elements comprising at least two battens joined by at least two cross members intended to cooperate with the props. aforesaid ..,
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, each of the aforesaid formwork elements is self-supporting.
Other details and features of the invention will emerge from the description from the drawings appended to this specification and which illustrate, by way of non-limiting example, the methods according to the invention.
Figure 1 is a perspective view showing
EMI3.1
--- --------- the aforementioned shuttering elements as well as the materials constituting the ceiling before the concrete is poured.
Figure 2 is a sectional view of the ceiling, corresponding to Figure 1, after the concrete has been poured.
In the various figures, the same reference notations designate similar elements.
The ceiling 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2 consists of panels 2, plates 3 and reinforcements 4 for concrete 5, the latter being of mixed composition by the use of keystones 6, such as keystones on expanded concrete, keystones in light bricks, etc ... The panels 2 and the plates 3, assembled by gluing to said panels are used! as lost formwork and the visible face 7 of these panels constitutes the finishing face of the ceiling.
The plates 3, of insulating material, are arranged on the panels 2 and are advantageously made
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
plastic, for example expanded polystirene. The purpose of these plates is to insulate the panels 2 from the concrete during the pouring of the latter and to provide the ceiling 1 with excellent '. and <j / thermal / acoustic insulation qualities. The plates 3 adhere by their face 8 to the concrete 5, this adhesion can however be reinforced by the use of a suitable adhesive. The water-tightness of the plates 3 has the advantage of ensuring the concrete 5a greater hardness. The plates 3 could also be made of an insulating material such as cork.
The realization of the ceiling 1 is obtained by placing the panels 2 on the formwork 9, the plates 3 being glued to said panels while the concrete is poured on said plates, The formwork 9 is a slatted formwork consisting of 1 by voliges 10 substantially parallel arranged, preferably! edge, at a certain distance from each other so as to ensure good ventilation of the panels 2. The formwork 9 is advantageously composed of elements 11 prefabricated self-supporting 'made up of battens 10 laid edge and joined by sleepers 12 arranged perpendicular to said battens, these elements being intended to be supported by props 13.
The elements 11 have the advantage of allowing formwork to be made with a single type of element, in fact, when an element is too long to be able to be placed end to end with another element, it suffices to arrange the battens of the the element to be placed between the flights of the element already in place.
When the formwork 9 is removed after the concrete 5 has fully set, it suffices to close the joints existing between the panels 2 to obtain a completely finished ceiling.
It should be understood that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described and that many modifications can be made to the latter without departing from the framework of the present patent.
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
Thus, to illustrate the aforementioned processes, a ceiling has been described, it is obvious that these processes are applicable when making beams, columns, etc.
