The present invention relates to a slide it @ for including indicator wires in electric fuses.
When manufacturing electrical fuses, one introduces first, as is well known. , the driver. fuse in the ceramic body, then the head contact is fixed and then the complete indicator is inserted. It is known to perform these operations automatically.
During this manufacture, the sono tensioning of the indicator wire presents difficulties which must be attributed to the fact that the ceramic cartridge exhibits tolerances after firing. When the length of the indicator wires is always the same compared to the cartridges. the wires are often too long so that the pressure spring of the indicator cannot act or if the wires are too short so that the indicator wire risks breaking, To remedy the aforementioned disadvantages , the power is still most often done by hand,
which is a big waste of time and harms the degree of automation in the industry.
The present invention relates to a device by means of which the energization of an indicator wire can be done automatically with all sizes of cartridges for electric fuses.
According to the invention, the device for tensioning the indicator lines completed with the aid of a spring, an indicator plate and inserted into the fuse cartridges, this device being fixedly mounted on a circular table in view of the assembly of the fuses, consists in that the indicator wire of a cartridge of a fuse
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
being in a support device with its indicator plate rests on one side against a stop and is wedged on the other side by means of an axially movable rotation device operatively connected with the stop,
by means of rods or rods. The stopper is actuated mechanically or hydraulically. In a frame is constituted a guide in the form of a prism, in which is disposed a horizontally movable stop, having in its lower section a bore with in oelui-oi, a head piece biased by a spring, such as in extending from the central axis of the bore and the head piece is a fuse cartridge attached to a support device, which is mounted on the circular table so as to be moved locally. The head of the stopper rests on the front of the fuse cartridge and thus pushes the indicator plate.
The indicator wire protrudes from the foot of the cartridge, which is opposite the front of oelle-oi, and comes to be placed between at least two jaws which can reform and belong to a rotation device in positive connection with the frame, by means of a bevel gear whose vertical axis is provided with a toc and un.levier guided on the frame in connection with the stop.
@
The rotating device can pivot axially at. using a rack and pinion both of which are connected to the stopper.
The device according to the present invention is explained more fully with the aid of an example of an embodiment with reference to a drawing, in which!
Figure 1 shows the device in longitudinal section.
Figure 2 shows the device in plan, from top and
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
La, figure 3 shows a detail of the jaws 15.
The fuse 1 with the complete indicator, placed in a support 2 is introduced into the device for tensioning the indicator wire 3. In this device, a stopper 4 which is arranged so that it can be moved horizontally in a guide. 5 in the form of a prism belonging to the frame 6 of the device, is pressed by a force, for example by means of a hydraulic cylinder 7, against the front 8 of the cartridge of the ceramic body 1. The stopper 4 and the cartridge of the ceramic body. fuse 1 have the same centerline.
The head 9 of the stopper 4 moves in a bore 10 of the stopper 4, which also has a bore 12; a pressure spring 11 is arranged and adjusted such that the head 9 presses against the front 8 of the cartridge and compensates for the tolerances which have appeared in the length of the cartridge. The movement of the hydraulic cylinder 7 continues.
The stopper 4 moves further, so that the head 9 is moved into the bore 10 and a bolt
26 guided in a groove 25 is driven by the stopper 4 in, so that the lever 14 causes the jaws 13 of the rotation device 16 to close by releasing a stopper pin 24, while the force of a torsion spring 27 , which is connected with a bevel gear 18 and by it, with an axis
28 thereof, is released by the stop lug 24.
During the movement of the stop 4 forwards, the trauma spring 21 tightens and at the same time the pressure spring
29 is compressed. Using the rack 17, the pinion 24 of the rotation device 16 is set in motion. By this movement is achieved the pivoting of the tension head 19.
When the jaws 15 close, the indicator wire 3 placed between them is clamped, it now experiences a strong
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
traction due to the pivoting of the tension stub 19 and is placed around the foot 13, of the fuse cartridge 1.
@
The remainder of the indicator wire 3 is shortened using a knife 20 or by removing it. Using a device not shown, the auxiliary contact is pressed on the foot of the cartridge.
The forward movement of the hydraulic cylinder 7 is now complete. The cylinder now returns to its starting position, in addition the lever 14,, the rack 17 and the stopper 4 are withdrawn the tension springs 2lp22 help the operation The jaws open again under the action of the bevel gear 18 and a new operation can begin.
