<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

Processes are known for the blasting of vertical deposits, for example coal, in which the blasting, possibly from the two wings, is carried out on a working face oriented essentially by hunting in the upward direction along 'a preparation route made in the deposit and establishing the connection between two stages, while the extracted material is evacuated by means of a conveyor, disposed approximately parallel with respect to the working face, and by means of a transport cylinder or the like, provided at the end opposite to the path for preparing the working face, -conducted from the lower level, respectively cut into the backfill.
In said process, the field which has just been felled is backfilled by means of the hydraulic backfilling process. In this known process, the evacuation of the extracted material is carried out either by means of fixed corridors having a sufficient inclination, or by means of oscillating corridors actuated by compressed air and which can be. arranged approximately horizontally. In this case the conveyors are arranged on the supporting parts supporting the free working chamber, above the backfill field proper. This known process has a series of disadvantages which make it economically unsuccessful. cost effective, especially in comparison to the slaughtering processes frequently used in inclined farms.
An essential disadvantage of this process is the problem of storing the parts of the conveyor during backfilling work and which requires providing, next to the backfill field, a transport field in which the conveyor is stored while the backfill is introduced. However, the storage of the conveyor in the transport field is only possible if said transport field is separated by a support from the backfill field, on which the conveyor can be stored.
After extraction from a new working field and before introducing the backfill, it is therefore necessary to first insert a new retaining row and to move the conveyor, dismantled in its constituent parts, through this new retaining row into the new transport field o If the process is therefore already cumbersome and requires a lot of work for the reasons mentioned above, the economic profitability is further reduced due to the fact that - the need to move the various parts of the conveyor individually through the support into the new transport field, generally excludes any use of higher capacity conveyors such as, for example, gutter conveyors of the double-chain squeegee conveyor type which, in a known manner,
have a considerably higher transport capacity in addition to the advantage of their insensitivity to the angle of inclination given during their installation.
According to the invention, this felling process can be made simpler and economically more profitable, while eliminating the disadvantages mentioned above, since the hydraulic backfill is introduced field after field after the extraction of the exploitation field, leaving only one working and common transport field free and giving up support inside the free cross section of the operation and the fact that the transporter, placed directly on the backfill, is lifted automatically, preferably with the exception of its actuating parts, even into the new working field during the introduction of the backfill slime and by means of the latter, since the conveyor is fitted with floaters.
Compared to the known method, the method according to the invention has the advantage that it is possible to avoid leaving a special transport field in which it is necessary to store the conveyor during the introduction of the backfill. In fact, it is also possible to neglect a support which supports the hollow space of the exploitation and at the same time forces to anchor the conveyor.
On the other hand, the considerable efforts required by the movement of the conveyor can be saved, which, especially in conjunction with the possibility of neglecting the support, saves a special work team and also provides the possibility of to be able to now use without difficulty higher capacity conveyors, especially, for example,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
double chain squeegee conveyors.
When using conveyors formed by gutter sections, the need to have to dismantle / the conveyor is also excluded, since even when using conveyors with heavy actuator assemblies the gutter The same conveyor can be moved, as a set, directly by the slurry backfill into the new transport field. In addition, an essential advantage of the process lies in the fact that the backfill must necessarily be introduced permanently, so that large hollow spaces are prevented from remaining open, which considerably increases the safety of the operation.
Finally, the fact that the conveyor is placed directly on the backfill offers the advantage that only a small part of the extracted material is lost in the backfill, since the surface of the backfill which, in a known manner, is relatively flat. in the case of hydraulic backfilling and which is located immediately next to the conveyor, considerably facilitates the shoveling of the material in a loose pile, after completion of the cut.
When using conveyors consisting of removable sections, for example double-chain scraper conveyors, it is generally advantageous, although not necessary in all cases, that before the introduction of the machine. slime water backfill, the actuating parts are detached from the conveyor gutter line and are hooked to the retaining members serving for the formwork of the face, then. said actuating parts are pulled up, for example. by means of winches or the like, into the new field of operation, while the sections of the gutter are moved, as a whole, by means of the slime water backfill as they float, during the 'introduction of the latter,
even in the new field of operation where they can be connected to the actuating parts before starting the new cut. Before the introduction of the slime water for backfill, the transport cylinder, coated for example by rings, respectively timber segments, is raised by such a value above the desired height of the backfill that the parts of the conveyor lifted by the slime backfill water and after the liquid level above the solid backfill has dripped off, can be connected to the actuating parts in the desired end position.
It is obvious that nothing prevents the use, instead of transport cylinders covered by timbering rings, vertical transporters known per se, for example helical corridors or the like and which must be led towards the end. high in the embankment.
The carriers for implementing the method are executed so that at least the conveyor gutter, respectively the sections of the latter, is provided with float bodies, equidistant over the length of said gutter and, preferably, easily detachable. The base surface of said float bodies simultaneously forms the bearing face of the conveyor during its installation on the solid backfill. The float bodies are advantageously arranged on the underside of the sections of the conveyor gutter, however it is also possible to provide float bodies on each side of the latter. In any event, the arrangement must naturally be such that during the flotation the sections of the gutter themselves are not in contact with the slime water.
The float bodies can be formed by solid bodies, for example made of wood, cork or the like or else by synthetic materials, very particularly those with large closed cells, however preferably the use of hollow bodies made of sheet metal or of synthetic material.
Advantageously, each of the sections of the gutter has an individual float body and the arrangement is such that both as regards the length and as regards the width, the float bodies are arranged symmetrically with respect to the sections of the gutter.
One embodiment, given by way of non-limiting example, is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which:
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Fig. 1 represents a plan section of the vein @ @
Fig 2 represents a cross section of the point of exploitation.
In the drawing, the coal to be felled is designated by 1 and the backfill introduced by means of the hydraulic backfill process is designated by 2. From the preparation track 3 which provides the connection between two neighboring mine floors inside of the vein, the front of size 4, oriented approximately in a straight line when driving out, is released so that the unrolling is effected while going up. - ,, The length of the front of size can be chosen at will and in wide limits. - your, and this, according to the conditions. At the end, opposite to the preparation path 3, of the working face, a transport cylinder 5 is cut in the backfill from the lower level not shown in the drawing and is led to the upper floor. as the runoff progresses.
In the example shown the coating of the transport cylinder 5 is formed by means of timbering rings 6 and the upper timbering ring 6a is led to such an extent up to above the level of the backfill that the penetration of slime water in backfill can be avoided as much as possible during the introduction of the backfill The face of size 4 which can possibly be released by the two wings, i.e. on both sides from the preparation path 3, is coffered by support members 7, which may be constituted for example by simple wooden props or half-timber, so that the collapse of pieces of coal in the working field located can be avoided. below.
With the exception of this formwork, a support supporting the cross section of the operation can be neglected in the example shown.
The conveyor 8, used for the evacuation of the extracted material, is executed in the form of a double-chain rake conveyor, the individual sections of the gutter of which are articulated to each other in a known manner.
The actuation of the conveyor 8 is obtained by means of the two drive heads
9, 10 in the form of a gutter and provided at the ends. The drive assemblies such as motor, gear and coupling are located laterally on said drive heads. As can be seen from figs. 1 and 2, each of the sections of the gutter of the conveyor 8 is yellowed on its underside, of a float body 12 disposed symmetrically with respect to said section and which, in the case of the example shown, is produced under the shape of a hollow sheet metal body.
The connection between the float body 12 and the sections of the gutter is made so that it can be easily loosened and can be obtained, for example, by means of pliers, wedges, screws or the like. , The base surface
12a of the floaters is planar so that the latter are. place securely on the solid backfill and that at the same time the conveyor receives sufficient stability.
The slime water for the backfill is introduced by means of a backfill pipe 11 which is placed inside the preparation passage 3 and which leads as a rule to the immediately following upper floor ( not shown in the drawing).
The work is carried out in the following way g
During harvesting, the conveyor with drive heads 9 and 10 is firmly placed on the backfill. The conveyor conveys the extracted material to the wooded well 5 from which the material is discharged, in the lower stage, by means of boxes or the like and is loaded, for example, on trains of wagons. Instead of the wooded well it is obviously possible to use any other vertical conveyor, for example a helical corridor or the like, which is to be recommended more particularly in cases where it is necessary to spare the coal as much as possible. .
After extraction from an operating field and in the case of the use of double-chain squeegee conveyors with their relatively heavy actuators, these are hooked to the formwork 7a and 7b installed during
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
the cut and are pulled upwards by means of muffles 13 into the new transport field. The intake of the slurry backfill water through the pipeline 11 is carried out simultaneously and, as a rule, the backfill material The fine-grained layer slides downwards, while above the solid mass of the backfill remains the liquid constituent part of the slime water which, before draining, generally extends by at least 10 20 mm above the solid backfill.
During the introduction of the backfill, the conveyor gutter line rises over its entire length by virtue of its float bodies, so that when the backfill is completed it is at the height of the heads of drag 9 and 10 drawn up beforehand, and in this position the said gutter line can be connected to the actuating heads before resuming the cut.
The removal of the chain is no longer necessary here, since the latter must only be detached at both ends before detaching and routing the drive heads upwards; the chain being disposed freely on the conveyor gutters as they float upwards.
Due to their connection with the float bodies, which serve as a foundation for the sections of the conveyor gutter, the latter can be relatively light, since they no longer have to support themselves directly due to their construction. .
