Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

   Currently there are devices for carrying bottles or similar objects, which consist of a sheet of a semi-rigid material, such as cardboard, the latter being cut and folded so as to form receptacles for the objects to wear.

   These devices have the drawback of being of relatively complicated construction. In addition, they are usually open on two opposite sides so that objects can slide and fall. To remedy this drawback, some of these devices are closed on all their

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 faces; however, this arrangement further increases their cost price and most often prevents the device from being laid flat for its empty transport or storage.

   The present invention relates to a device for carrying bottles or the like which can be laid flat and is of simple construction while ensuring a perfect holding of the bottles.

   The device according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it is open on two opposite faces and that it comprises on these two faces bellows forming stops.

   In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the device consists of a single sheet which is folded substantially along an inverted M and the various folds of which are joined together in part. upper, for example by stapling. an embodiment of a bottle holder according to the invention has been described below, by way of nonlimiting example, with reference to the appended drawing in which:
Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of the folded bottle holder.

   Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the unfolded bottle holder.

   As shown in the drawing, the bottle holder consists of a sheet of cardboard which is folded substantially in the shape of an inverted M and whose folds 1, 2, 3 and 4 have the same length and are assembled together. to each other by stapling 5. The sheet comprises the lines and upsets 6, 7a and 7b necessary for this folding; it comprises, moreover, routes and repressions in 8a - 8b - 9a - 9b and 10a
10b to allow its unfolding as shown in FIG. 2.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

  In this position, the folds 1 and 4 comprise on the one hand a lower rectilinear portion which is parallel to the folds 2 and 3, connected to the latter by a bottom 11 or 12 and spaced from said folds by a distance slightly less than diameter of the bottles to be carried, and on the other hand an upper curved portion in which oval openings 13 are formed for the passage of the bottles.

   The ply 3 and the bottom 12 (as well as the ply 2 and the bottom 11) are provided on each of their vertical edges, near the track 9b (or 9a) with lines and upsets 14 and 15 which allow the formation of bellows 16 .

   It can be seen from the above description that. the bottle holder is easy to make and inexpensive and the bottles placed through the openings 13 on the funds 11 and 12 are perfectly maintained. In fact, the openings 13 being provided in an oblique wall, may be of sufficiently small dimensions to clamp the bottles when the latter are vertical, while allowing easy installation and removal by tilting the bottles. Furthermore, the bellows 16 form stops and prevent the bottles from sliding sideways.

   It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown, but on the contrary covers all the variants thereof.
