<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

The present patent relates to a composition of materials intended to coat one or more faces of building materials to obtain decorative effects * or, to constitute, being used alone, the most diverse ornamental objects. The patent also provides for the process and the means for implementing the envisaged composition.
The composition, which will be used is as follows:
55% pure cement, preferably white.
45% waste of marmorite, glass, porcelain, flint, quartz of different shades, to achieve the desired decorative exterior appearance.
The above materials, mixed and mixed with water then drilled into a concrete in the form of a paste which can be used, either to coat with a certain thickness, one or the faces of a support material which is a block of concrete of concrete. construction, of normal composition, either to constitute directly as already indicated the specific material of the object itself, such as for example a vase, the amphora, a planter or other object of ornamentation for the interior or

for the exterior.
The percentages indicated in the composition above do not have to be strictly observed and it goes without saying that they can vary more or less in the order of 10% approximately, and the process of implementation s' will operate in two phases, the first consisting of the actual molding, the second consisting of vibrating the mold with the materials introduced into it, followed by demoulding. This vibrating operation can be replaced, if necessary, The use of suitable presses, for the implementation of the composition envisaged, for example for the exterior decoration of concrete blocks intended for the construction of facades, molds specially established and packaged for this purpose will be used.
By way of example, with the aid of the appended schematic drawings given by way of example and without limitation, the implementation process for the deooration of the exterior faces of concrete building blocks will be explained.
To this end, Fig.l shows the plan view of a molding frame with several molding compartments.
Fig.2 shows on a larger scale, a mold compartment of Fig.l, during the first phase of the implementation process, according to II - II, Fig.l.
Fig. 3 represents on a larger scale, the same Fig. 3, during the second phase of the process (vibrating table).
The Flg.4 represents one of the blocks obtained after the removal of the movable partitions from the mold compartment and which can then be cut to remove the elements of the desired dimensions.
Figs. 5 and 6 show, by way of example, other embodiments of the shapes that can be given to the elements.
Figs. 7 and 8 represent, by way of example, the realizations of ornamental objects,
Referring to Fig.l, 1 shows the molding frame with bottom 2 and 3 a longitudinal axial separation dividing the frame.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
located in two juxtaposed chambers in each of which are forces compartments constituting individual molds, by the use of removable partitions or dividers, these dividers are five in number per compartment, that is to say one at the bottom 4, constituting a false bottom resting on the fixed bottom 3 of the molding frame 1, two laterals 5 and 6 and two longitudinal ones 7 and 8.
The partitions 7 and 8 are pierced with openings 9 in an appropriate number for the passage of iron bars 10 constituting cores intended to form holes 11 in the concrete blocks, see Fig.4. On the lower edge of these same separations 7 and 8, notches or notches 12 are made for the passage of profiled iron bars 13, serving as cores to form the dovetail housings 14 in the blocks for their attachment. between them by the presence of the mortar see Figs. 2, 3 and 4.
The equipment described is completed by a vibrating table 15 shown schematically in section in FIG.
If it is a question of obtaining concrete blocks with one or more decorative faces obtained by the use of the composition envisaged above, one will proceed as follows.
A molding frame such as 1 will be used, and the envisaged removable frames will be placed, then the bars such as 10 and 13 will be slid in. The decorative composition being prepared to an appropriate degree of consistency, one will place, for example on the vertical sides. - wedges of partitions 5 and 6 of thicknesses a of said composition, then fill the gap left between blocks a by ordinary concrete b and this up to a certain height, see Fig. 2, where a hollow is left between the layers 2, this done, for all the compartments of the molding frame 1, as explained, we place, see Fig. 3, the molding frame 1 thus prepared on a vibrating table 15.
During the vibrating, the materials settle and the hollow which is accentuated is filled by the composition a, during the time that the operation of vibrating is still continuing, this one completed one removes the small excess of the composition, by a leveling operation
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
carried out by a ruler or a roller, / the decorative faces are washed
This completed, the assembly / is allowed to take shape, then the bars 10 and 13 are removed and the removable vertical separating plates 5, 6, 7, 8 are then removed. This operation is done easily, as a result of the withdrawal that has occurred,
We thus obtain a block, see Fig. 4, with an exterior decorative part a covering the interior support made up of ordinary concrete b.
The block can then be debited to form bricks or other construction elements in the desired dimensions, with one or more decorative exterior faces.
Depending on the shapes of the molds used, shapes like those shown in Figs. 5 and 6 may be obtained. For the production of interior or exterior ornamental objects, the composition will be used directly in the molds. suitable where it will be molded to the desired thickness, for example 6 to 8 mm or even more,
Fig. 7 is an elevational section through a vase made with the contemplated composition and Fig. 8 is a perspective view of a planter.
It goes without saying that we can choose and match the colors of the materials used in the composition to obtain the desired decorative effects.
The dimensions of both decorative construction elements and ornamental objects can be chosen as desired.
In summary, it should be considered as coming within the scope of the present patent, a decorative composition for building materials and ornamental objects and method for its implementation, characterized by the following oe,
