<Desc/Clms Page number 8>

<Desc/Clms Page number 10>

necessary to give them the desired shape and reduced material costs.
The strollers are slipped, by their elbow ends, on the profiles of the frames on the side facing the rocks and ensure, after padding the pusher with stones, an effective connection, resistant to traction and compression, between the struts. frames placed one after the other in the direction of the gallery. As the thrust of the rocks increases, the bent ends of the strollers, bypassing the profiles of the frames, are squeezed more and more between the frames and the padding.
The non-bent part of the slowness of the possards, which is between the frames, can therefore deform elastically towards the interior of the gallery without having to fear that the connection will loosen between the support frames and the pushchairs. by the action of rock thrust. In this way, the frames, placed one after the other in the direction of the gallery, are immobilized more and more so that they form a particularly resistant gallery support, the parts of which are interconnected. . so as to be able to resist tension and compression.
According to another characteristic of the invention, at least two push-buttons, substantially parallel and established at a distance from one another, are connected by at least one transverse connection. The bonding of several pushbuttons, especially two pushbuttons, so that they form a cohesive element, has the advantage that a greater static resistance is obtained. In addition, it makes it possible to obtain -He uniform spacing between the different linked push-buttons and a faster and simpler installation of the push-buttons. For an advantageous embodiment, the transverse connection between the pbussars is only established at one end thereof.
It is then possible, for example, to constitute the stroller by a curved round iron in the shape of a hairpin. It is then recommended to give the branches of the elbows, which form the outer stops, a greater length of glue from the hard outer inner branches than from the inner branches of the elbows so that the outer branches can be bent so as to form a hook which goes around the profile wing.

Fig. 11 shows, on a larger scale, part of the device of FIG. 10.
On the perimeter of the supporting frames 1, 1a and lb of a mine gallery are distributed pushbuttons 2, 2a, 2b which are spaced apart from each other and which extend in the direction of the length of the gallery, these pushers serving to hold in place the stones which are stuffed between the neighboring rocks and the frames 1, la and lb while at the same time providing a connection resistant to traction and compression between the frames 1, la and lb which are placed one after the other in the direction of the gallery. The pushers 2, 2a and 2b consist of round irons having a diameter of approximately 6 to 15 mm and have a length which corresponds to the distance which separates the outer edges of two neighboring frames.
The ends of the strollers have bent parts 3, 4, 5, 5a adapted to the shape of the profile used, these bent parts bypassing the profiles of the frames 1, 1a and lb on the side of the rocks. The branches of the bent parts 3, 4, 5 and 5a, which are approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the gallery, form stops for guiding the profiles of the frames 1, la. and lb.
For the embodiment shown in figs. 2 to 4, at the two ends of the push-buttons 2, 2a and 2b, there are provided bent parts 3 in the form of a U which bypass the wings which are on the side of the rocks. The inner branches 3a of the bent parts, between which are located. ';: the median longitudinal part of the push-buttons 2, 2a and 2b form fixed stops on which the edges facing, the profiles of the frames 1 and support it. The branches 3a of the bent parts thus form a connection, resistant to compression.

For the manufacture of pushers 2, 2a and 2b, it is possible to use, instead of round irons, flat irons or rods with square section or any other profile, the thickness of these irons or rods being adapted to each times to the stresses to be expected.

As clearly visible in lea 1'.i; .. 6 and 0, 1e: 3 pins <1 <: = pushers have at both ends. bent parts 4 including the. dimensions correspond to the shape of the sections and to the width or the spacing of the soles thereof, these bent parts bypassing those on the side of the frames 1 and where the rocks are located. The branches. Prioresses 4a, between which are the longitudinal parts Glanes of the strollers, have a gap corresponding approximately to the free interval existing between frames 1 and 1a. These interior branches 4a form fixed stops on which the facing edges of the profiles of the frames 1 bear it.
The length of the branches 4a of the bent parts corresponds approximately to the thickness of the flanges of the profiles 1, the
The branches 4b, 4c which form the outer stops are extended beyond the thickness of the wings of the profiles and are curved or can be curved in the form of hooks which embrace these wings. In addition, the branches 4b of the bent parts, connected by the cross member 7, are bent perpendicular to the plane passing through the rods 2a,
2a 'of the pushchair so as to form a hook which goes around the wing 1' of the profile of the frame 1. The outer branches 40 of the bent parts which are located at the opposite end of the rods 2a, 2a 'of the pushchair, also have a length greater than the thickness of the profile flanges.
The branches 4c of the bent parts, when the pushers are caged on the frames 1, 1a ,, are rectilinear, as shown in FIG. 8 by dotted lines, and only after that they are bent so as to form a hook 4c 'which goes around the flange of the profile. By means of the branches 4b and 40 which are curved or can be curved so as to circumvent the flanges of the profiles, a particularly secure connection is obtained between the pushers and the supporting frames.
The rods 2, 2 'or 2a, 2a' of the pushchair which are located between the support frames 1, the can, as shown in mixed lines on figs. 6 and 8, flex elastically towards the interior of the gallery '. by the effect of rock thrust. However, it is also possible that these rods, upon thrust acting in the direction of the gallery, flex elastically towards the rocks along line 2c 'shown in dotted lines.
<Desc / Clms Page number 8>
For the embodiment, watch on .Le: '; figs. 5 and 7, the rods 2, 2 'or 2a, 2a' of the pushchair, interconnected at one end by a cross member 7, are inclined towards each other at a reduced angle, in the back plane with profiled back soles . This angle has a value such that the distance between the free ends of the branches 40 corresponds approximately to the distance which separates the outer edges of the ends of the push-piece connected to each other by the cross member 7, in this way. , it becomes possible to flare the end parts of the pushrod rods, interconnected by the cross member 7, between the free ends of the pushchair rods which succeeds the first in the direction of the length of the gallery and which is connected to the same frame profile.
Figs. 5 and 7 show that the rods 2, 2 'or 2a, 2a' of the pushers are additionally connected to each other in the gap existing between the frames 1, 1a by a mesh consisting of a wire. This thread
8 has for example a diameter of 3 mm and is, for the embodiment of FIG. 5, rigidly connected by welding to the rods 2a, 2a 'at all the places where it is in contact with them. For the mode of realizable. of fig. 7, the wire 8 is wound around the rods 2a, 2at of the pushrod and only the ends 8a of this wire are welded to the rod 2a '. The trellis formed by a wire and shown in figs. 5 and 7 can be replaced by other lattices or grimages, preferably wide meshes, which connect the rods 2a and 2a 'of the pushchair.
By the mesh in question the padding stones are held in place under better conditions. In addition, a stiffening of the pushrod is obtained by the trellis.
The size of the meshes of the treeillis which connects the rods 2a, 2a 'of the pusher, also depends on the stresses to be expected, more especially on the size of the stones forming the padding.
The pushers, shown on the figs. @ to 8, can in the case where the profiles of the competent frame also of the wings on the side of the interior of the gallery, be mounted on the frames of often 1, not only on the side of the rocks but equal to the side of the interior of the gallery. In general, the struts are given a length approximately equal to the distance existing between the outer edges of two adjacent frames.

lerie. However, it is also possible to give the strollers a length which corresponds to the double or a greater multiple of the distance between two neighboring frames.
Furthermore, it is possible to bring together more than two sections of profiled rods, placed parallel to each other, to form a pushrod. The different sections can then be connected to each other by transverse rods welded to them. It is also possible, in this case, to constitute the push-piece by a single section of profiled rod, curved for example so as to have a wavy shape.
For the embodiment shown on the figs. 9 to 11, the pushers are constituted, in each case, by two sections 2, 2 'and 2a, 2a' of round bars placed parallel and spaced from one another, each sections comprising at its two ends, two parts successive cubits 5 and 5a. At an equal distance from these bent parts 5, 5a, the rods 2, 2 'or 2a, 2a' are connected in the middle part of the length of the pushers by crossbars 9 between which are established crosses 10.
The crosspieces 9 and the braces 10 are welded together and to the rods 2, 2 'or 2a, 2a', In this way the rods 2, 2 'or 2a, 2a' are connected so that the whole forms a rigid pushchair in itself, As can be seen in figs. 10 and 11, the longitudinal parts of the pushers which lie between the frames 1, 1a and 1b can flex elastically towards the interior of the gallery or towards the rocks.
The wings of the Zorè profiles 1, la., 1b are guided in the bent parts 5, 5a. These are spaced from each other over a distance corresponding to the distance existing between the wings of the profiles, the longitudinal section 5b which exists between these bent parts of the push-piece being engaged in the groove of the Zorès section. 1, la or 1b.
The spacing between the branches 5 ', 5 "or 5a', 5a" corresponds approximately to the width of the flanges of the profiles so that the side members as well as the flanges thereof cannot flex inward. nor to the outside. The dimensions and shape of the elbow parts 5, 5a are adapted to those of the 'wings of the Zores profile used in each case. The strollers, shown on figs * 9 to 11 can also be used for Zorès profiles which do not have wings or very small wings.
<Desc / Clms Page number 10>
As seen in fig. 9 it is possible to distribute the pushchairs along the perimeter of the support frames, separating them from each other by a distance corresponding to the nearest pea to the width of the pushchair. In the interval between gentle neighboring pushers in the direction of the periphery of the gallery, the bent end points of the pushers which follow one another in the longitudinal direction of the gallery, overlap the Zorès section of the support frame. The strollers were also arranged in such a way that the angled end parts of the neighboring strollers which extend in the direction of the length of the gallery, interlock with each other.
In this way it is possible to place the pushers as close to each other as the constitution of the rocks seems to require.
The depth of the bent parts 5, 5a or the length of the branches 5 ', 5 "or 5a', 5a" of these parts is chosen mauière such as the Zorès profiles 1, la and 1b silk supported over the entire height of their wings by these branches.
Also for the pushchair, shown in figs. 9 to 11, it is possible to bring together more than two parallel profiled rods these pushers by cross-welded ones to form a single push-button. It is also possible, as for the embodiments shown in figures 5 to 8, to give the outer legs 5 'of the bent portions a length greater than that shown in these figs. 9 to 11 so that they can be bent in the form of a hook which goes around the wing of the profile.
In addition, it is possible, as for all the other embodiments, to constitute the pushers not only by round irons but also by flat irons or by rods having a square section or any other profile.
