<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

The present invention relates to, in addition to the main patent, another embodiment of the nautical vehicle or boat, which is described in this patent and whose essential characteristic is to have a circular hull with a rounded bottom.
In the embodiment which is disclosed in the main patent, this circular hull with a domed bottom is covered by an essentially flat deck, which serves as a running surface for a diametral support, free to turn around the vertical axis of the hull. ; this diametral support carries a seat for the pilot, at the same time as a means of propulsion outside the hull and the pilot can determine a relative rotational movement of this support with respect to the hull by acting on a fixed steering wheel Dorté
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
by a central column, around which the support rotates.
By this means the pilot can change the direction of the machine. However, experience has shown that for this it had to exert a fairly considerable force on the fixed steering wheel and that therefore a change of direction could not be obtained as easily as the convex shape of the hull had to allow.
In the embodiment which is the subject of the present addition, the nautical vehicle comprises a propulsion member which is orientable about a vertical axis of position eccentric with respect to the hull and which can be maneuvered by means of a helm operated by the pilot from the central part of the hull. The domed bottom of the circular hull can be extended by a top part which is also convex, preferably symmetrically at the bottom, and leaving a circular central opening, and the propulsion means is an outboard motor. Preferably, the hull has at its periphery a notch, in which the outboard motor is located, such that the latter is inside the perimeter of the hull and closer to its center. which promotes propulsion.
The central opening, which serves as a housing for the pilot, can be covered by a perforated dome presenting a light for the passage of the bar.
The invention will be described in one embodiment given by way of nonlimiting example, with reference to the appended drawing, which represents a boat according to the invention, and in which FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the boat. ; FIG. 2 is a view in transverse vertical section passing through the propulsion means.
As in the embodiment described in the main patent, the shell is circular with a rounded bottom 1. The bottom 1 is, however, covered on its periphery by a top 13, which completes
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
the hull to a circular central opening 14. The two parts of the hull, bottom and top, have the same diameter and preferably substantially the same crown. If it is a toy, they can be made of stamped thin sheet metal and assembled around their periphery by crimping. If this is a navigation machine, the two parts of the shell can be riveted and welded.
Each of the parts of the hull has the same re-entry limited by substantially vertical walls 15, 16, which, in the assembled hull, leave at the periphery a notch allowing the housing of the outboard motor. 9, propeller 10. the latter is pivoted against the wall 15 by a vertical axis 18 and comprises a bar 19, directed towards the central part 14, above the shell 13.
The central opening can be covered by a perforated cover, for example resting on the top 13 of the shell around a collar 21 and being able to be fixed by any means; it presents, facing the notch 17 of the hull, a horizontal slot 22 allowing the passage of the bar 19 and its lateral displacement for the rotation of the outboard motor around its pivot 18.
The invention is of course not limited to the details of execution described, given only as an indication.
