"Eccentric actuator for fast oscillating machine parts, particularly the comb stripper on spinning looms."
The actuation of the detaching comb from the cards is generally carried out by means of a crank which, as is known, can only be used up to a determined oscillation life. If this oscillation limit is exceeded, it results not only in excessive wear, but also in fatigue which causes breakage.
In order to eliminate this disadvantage, it has already been proposed to split the shaft of the detaching comb. no play or almost no play

by two eccentrics arranged parallel to each other, and this, the dean of a transmission member placed on the 'said shaft. The tra.nsmission member engages between the two eccentrics or else it consists of a double lever aui is applied to said eccentric.
In opposition to what is known. the invention proposes an eccentric actuated device that does not work with a single eccentric and which is therefore much simpler, consequently less expensive due to the device described above. while eliminating the disadvantages of crank actuations. This is achieved by the fact that a single circular eccentric actuates an oscillating lever which, at its. side opposite to its bearing, engages with an arm disposed on the shaft of the detaching comb and which is provided with an elongated slot in which the eccentric rotates: the width of the elongated slot corresponds to the outside diameter of the circular eccentric, while its length corresponds to the stroke of said eccentric.
One embodiment, given by way of non-limiting example, is shown in the accompanying drawings.
The arm 2 is fixed on the shaft 1 of the detacher comb. The detaching comb, not shown, is actuated by means of the oscillations of the arm 2. oscillations obtained by the oscillating lever 3. The latter rests on a bearing pivot 4 and engages with the arm 2. to its side opposite to said landing. The oscillating lever 3 is provided with an elongated slot 5 in which rotates the eccentric 7 arranged on the shaft 6. The longitudinal axis of the elongated slot 5 corresponds with the longitudinal axis of the oscillating lever 3. The width elongated light 5 corresponds to the

lateral to the oscillating lever 3. The movements at right angles to these lateral movements are picked up by the elongated lumen 5 itself.
The oscillating lever 3 is connected to the arm 2 by a cylindrical extension 8 provided on the said lever: the cylindrical extension engages in a suitable pocket 9 of the arm 2. Consequently the connection has no play. fact it is necessary that the bearing of the rocking lever 3 receives a certain
Play in the longitudinal direction of said, lever. To this end, the swinging lever 3 is provided with a bearing saddle 10 for the bearing pin 4. Conversely, it is obviously also possible that the bearing does not have play and that. On the other hand. the connection between the oscillating lever and the arm 2 receives a certain play. Advantageously, the eccentric 7 does not turn directly in the elongated slot 5, but is provided. to this end. a roller bearing ring 11.
From case to case the stroke of the detacher comb to be driven @ Varies, In order to be able to take this into account, the circular eccentric: 7 is advantageously arranged on its shaft 6 so as to be able to be moved radially with respect to the latter. According to figs 2 and 3. the circular eccentric 7 ′ is provided for this purpose. an elongated slot 12. The width of the latter corresponds to the diameter of the shaft 6. while its. length is adapted to the area of displacement. The circular eccentric 7 est'disposed freely on the shaft 6 and is applied by one of its sides. against a disk flange 13 of shaft 6. On the other side. shaft 6 carries a disc 14.
The disc flange 13 and the disc 14 are connected by bolts 15. By tightening the bolts. the circular eccentric 7 is applied against the disk flange 13 of the shaft 6. For this purpose the bolts 15 pass through the circular eccentric 7 which is provided. for this purpose. two other elongated lights 16.
