The present invention relates to junction boxes for ducts and parquet conduits and it aims more particularly to ensure their easy adaptation, as well as to allow more judicious assembly.
In general, junction boxes for parquet ducts are cast in one or two parts so that it is not possible to provide for any modification during assembly.
In addition, practice shows that with the known devices it is not possible to easily ensure their plumb, especially in the presence of irregularities in the slabs and therefore, the arrangement of the cover at the level of the parquet floor is extremely. difficult.
The object of the invention is to obviate these drawbacks, while allowing maximum and minimum positions of the cover of the box in extreme positions sufficiently far apart to allow easy arrangement, whatever the nature and type. of parquet and parquet flooring used.
In the accompanying drawing is shown by way of example an embodiment of the present invention.
Fig. 1 gives in perspective a junction box according to the present invention.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective insert.
Fig. 3 is a plan view of the box, while
Fig. 4 shows on a larger scale a partial section of the cylinder head of the box and of the cover retainer.
According to the embodiment shown, the junction box essentially comprises a casing 1, consisting of a plate of cast iron, steel, fiber cement or the like and a cylinder head 2 comprising in the center a circular orifice 3, of which the edge ends with a raised collar 4. The cylinder head is also made of sheet metal, cast iron or fiber cement.
The housing 1 and the cylinder head 2 are kept apart by spacers 5 which are folded in the form of wedges and between which the ducts 6 and sheaths 7 are slid, the assembly being carried out using screws 8.
These spacers can also be solid, steel, cast iron, fiber cement and the like.
The spacers on the one hand maintain the distance between the crankcase and the cylinder head and on the other hand, form seals on the various sides.
The box shown gives the possibility of drifting in four directions at right angles two ducts, preferably rectangular in shape and as shown in the drawing.
The conduits 6 are placed two by two at the corners of the box and it is understood that depending on the requirements of the installations, it can be arranged at the four corners of the box, replacing the conduits 6, rectangular or cylindrical ducts.
According to fig. 1, the box is designed for two rectangular ducts drifting perpendicularly on each side of the box. However, the installations require boxes with one, two or three sheaths branching perpendicularly on each side and with the possibility of branching in the corners.
According to the invention, it suffices to provide housings and cylinder head: of different dimensions, all the other accessories remaining identical for the formation of a box.

In the exemplary embodiment with two parallel sides, one can be reserved for high current, the other for low current, such as for example the signal lines.
In this case, it is necessary to ensure the crossings and derivations in independent compartments of the box; for this purpose, the box is separated into two parts by a partition 9 cut out to form openings 10 in front of which open tunnels 11-11 '.
The Il-Il 'tunnels allow crossings and at the same time define assembly compartments 12-12'.
The tunnels 11-11 'are cut in such a way that each of the corner ducts can end in the compartment reserved for its specialty, that is to say for example strong current or weak current.
For the plumb of the box, three of the assembly screws of the box (81- 82 - 83) are of such a length as to ensure first a stable position of the box, then a perfect horizontality) of in such a way that the placement of the parquet and parquet cover presents no particular difficulty due to the presence of the box.
Likewise, under the cylinder head 2, thicknesses 13 can be placed, so as to give the desired depth to the box, so as to increase its internal volume and in particular according to the type of parquet or thickness ,, of the screed used.
Externally to the collar 4 is concentrically arranged a ring 14, itself surrounded by a ring 15.
The ring 15 is integral with three protrusions 16 arranged at 120, which are aligned with the protrusions 17 integral with the yoke 2. yoke The protrusions 16 firstly comprise a tapped hole 18 for a setting screw 19. at the level of the cover, then a smooth hole intended for the passage of the fixing screw 20 in the tapped hole in the cylinder head 2 and finally a tapped hole intended for the screw 21, with a view to retaining the cover 22 on the ring 15.
Thus, the collar 4, the ring 14 and the ring 15 form a telescopic tube which allows limit positions very far apart from the cover, while ensuring a certain seal and a suitable stability =
The cover 22 is preferably made in the form of a bowl in order to facilitate the housing of the parquet cover, in particular if the latter is made of a cast or plastic material and according to the invention, it is thus possible to limit the discontinuity of the floor covering. parquet cover to the thickness of the edge 23 of the cover.
It should be noted that in the case where the box is mounted with three parallel sides drifting perpendicularly, that is to say that one of the sheaths is intended for the strong current, the other for the telephone, the third for the weak current, the crossings and derivations are not modified.
In fact, the central ducts then have their intersection at the center of the box, that is to say that the assembly will again have been carried out with the ducts, ducts and spacers produced in series.
The invention has been described and illustrated purely as an indication and in no way limiting and it goes without saying that many modifications can be made to its details without departing from its spirit.
