Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

   The invention relates to prefabricated blocks for common constructions, in main order, but these can be made in scale models to serve as a building set.

   Said invention consists of a block, cubic or parallel, the upper face of which has a tenon, of any geometric shape, which is the perfect replica of the hollow shape presented by the lower face of said block. Several of these adjoining blocks produce a construction element capable of ensuring, by itself, great stability to the constructions, the connection between the blocks being really remarkable.

   This element also makes it possible to create single, double or triple walls, etc., columns, distribution footings, capitals. corbelled pieces, grafting at the desired locations shear walls, buttresses just as perfectly linked to the rest of the masonry.

   These blocks can be made from any moldable material; they will be homogeneous or heterogeneous; solid or hollow
Generally speaking. they are able to receive any quality relating to their nature and their destination.

   According to the invention, it is recommended to provide the walls of the block intended to form the upright joints with one or more grooves of any shape intended to receive suitable mortar or adhesive or else an inert material such as sand, for example which will increase. sealing the wall formed by said blocks.

   The outer shape of the blocks can vary infinitely depending on the use for which they are intended: either they are curved to form vaults, domes, wells, towers, etc ...

   With the aim of achieving, for certain constructions, a maximum connection. according to the invention, provision is made to provide all the faces of the blocks subsequently embedded in the masonry with tenons or hollow shapes.

   In summary, the invention covers all forms of blocks which would use as means of assembly male and female parts intended to fit together.

   The drawings are given by way of non-limiting example being easily understandable the impossibility of representing, even schematically, all the shapes of blocks, tenons and hollows which can be produced while remaining within the spirit of the following claims.

   Fig. I is a perspective view of a cubic block produced according to the invention, the latter is solid.

   Fig. 2 is a perspective view of two double blocks in the placement position and showing the tenons and hollows before their interlocking.

   Figs. 3. 4 and 5 are views of different blocks produced according to the present invention.

   Fig. is an elevational view of a single wall made by means of double blocks.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   Fig. 7 shows a cross wall mounted by means of the blocks.

   Fig. 8 is a partially cut away perspective view showing a double block in which relief recesses have been provided; note that the central rib has been partially removed for lightening and the cost price.

   Fig. 9 is a longitudinal section through a double block thereof having four faces provided with tenons or hollow shapes.

   CLAIMS.

     1. -, Prefabricated block for construction or for scale models or game characterized in that one face has a tenon while the opposite face is provided with a hollow shape which is the negative replica of said tenon, so that two blocks The tenon and the hollow, which are superimposed, perfectly fit together, playing the role of male and female organs.

   2. - Block according to rev. I the tenon and the hollow shape can be of any geometric shape.

   3. - Block according to rev. I and 2 characterized in that in the case of a parallelepedic block one or more tenons and hollow shapes are made on the opposite faces, this block will then have the exterior shape of several juxtaposed cubic blocks each being provided with its tenon but the hollow shape being able to be carried out over the entire length of the block, with or without removal of the internal ribs.

     4. - Block according to rev. above, characterized in that the walls of the blocks intended to form the upright joints are provided with one or more grooves of any shape intended to receive suitable mortar or adhesive or else an inert material increasing the sealing of the wall.
