REVENDICATIONS.

ALL-LIQUID PEAR INTERMITTENT DISPENSER.
The present improvement relates to the intermittent dispenser for liquids, the subject of main patent No. 513,276, in which a tilting reservoir is progressively filled by a constant power source, and once filled, automatically tilts and discharges its contents. . To cause this tilting, the tilting tank is provided with a small side auxiliary tank which is filled when the liquid has reached a determined level in the main tank.
The sufficiently filled auxiliary reservoir unbalances the assembly which tilts and the liquid from the two reservoirs pours out. As the main tank is straightened by a counterweight before the auxiliary tank is completely empty, a drain hole was provided in addition to the main discharge opening to complete the draining of the auxiliary tank necessary for the assembly to be able to recover. completely and return to the filling position. However, the additional drain orifice must be of reduced cross section so that its flow rate is less than that of the power source. It is therefore exposed to clogging by impurities contained in water, rust etc.
On the other hand, even of reduced section, it causes a continual loss of liquid during filling of the auxiliary tank.
To remedy these drawbacks, and according to the present improvement, the auxiliary reservoir is provided with a siphon placed so as to empty it completely when the device is tilted.
The siphon is preferably primed at the start of a rocking motion of the apparatus, so no loss of liquid occurs during filling and the flow rate of the power source can be as small as desired.
On the other hand, the siphon can have a much larger cross section than the drain opening of the auxiliary tank in accordance with the main patent.

cipal. There is therefore no risk of being blocked by the impurities contained in the water, and it allows the use of the dispenser for viscous .liquids.
In addition, the large section of the siphon allows rapid emptying and also rapid return of the distributor to the filling position.
In the appended drawing given by way of example and whose single figure is a vertical section of the distributor, 13 designates the siphon, one end of which and the elbow are located in the auxiliary tank 3, while the other end opens out to the outside the tank 3, in the spill tank 2. When the main tank 1 starts to tilt, the level of the liquid in the auxiliary tank 3 where. pours liquid from the main tank, rises above the bend of the siphon and the siphon is primed, The water contained in the auxiliary tank flows entirely through the siphon after which the distributor is returned to the filling position by the counterweight 7.
The siphon can be attached or come in the mass, just as it can be placed in any suitable place and in any suitable position, allowing it to ensure the emptying of the auxiliary tank when the main tank is tilted.
