La présente invention concerne un appareil ou dispositif portatif utilisé pour permettre la lecture aisée au lit, en position allongée ou assise.
On connaît déjà des liseuses de ce genre qui, généralement, ne sont constituées que par une simple surface plus ou moins inclinée maintenue entre deux supports et qui sert à maintenir le livre ouvert.
Ces dispositifs connus, sous forme de lutrin, ont une position déterminée fixée une fois pour toutes.

Ils sont peu satisfaisant à utiliser en position allon- gée au lit, car il n'est pas possible de modifier l'in- clinaison du livre.
La présente invention a pour but de remédier à cet, inconvénient et de procurer une liseuse-porteuse qui permette d'orienter le livre en lecture suivant l'angle le plus favorable pour les yeux tout en maintenant ce livre serré sur les bords supérieurs et inférieur en vue de faciliter le maintien des pages en position ouverte.
Dans ce but, la liseuse-porteuse, objet de l'in- vention, est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte un cadre extensible, dont le bord supérieur est fixé de manière réglable et démontable entre deux supports ou pieds, le bord inférieur étant solidarisé du bord supé- rieur par deux ressorts.
Dans la réalisation pratique de l'invention, la fixation du cadre extensible est réalisée par le simple serrage par vis papillon des extrémités du bord supérieur entre les parties supérieures des supports.
Le bord inférieur du cadre est avantageusement constitué par une latte en forme de cornière dont les extrémités coulissent le long de montants sous l'influ- ence de ressorts.
Le dessin ci-joint montre un exemple de réalisation d'une liseuse-porteuse suivant l'invention.
Comme le montre la figure, la liseuse-porteuse est constituée par deux supports ou pieds 1 et 2, de forme générale triangulaire, de préférence présentantleur partie supérieure des ouvertures 3 pour le passage de papillons de fixation 4 qui permettent de serrer en posi-

tion désirée le cadre 5 destiné à supporter un livre 6.
Ce cadre 5 est formé essentiellement d'un bord supérieur 7 qui peut présenter une surface d'appui pour le bord supérieur du livre et d'un bord inférieur 8 en forme de cornière pour recevoir le bord inférieur du livre, ces deux bords étant reliés l'un à l'autre par des ressorts 9 qui ont pour but de tendre à les rappro- cher et à serrer ainsi le livre en lecture.
Afin de pouvoir régler l'inclinaison du livre ainsi serré, les deux bords 7 et 8 peuvent être aussi reliés par deux tringleslO insérées, par exemple, dans les ressorts 9.
De cette manière, le livre étant serré entre les deux bords 7 et 8 par les ressorts 9, peut être orienté convenablement par suite de la rigidité des tringles 10 et maintenu dans cette position par les vis papillon de serrage 4.
Il est évident que ce dispositif peut être fabriqué en toute matière appropriée, par exemple en tubes légers, en aluminium, en bois ou en matière plastique.

The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback and to provide a reader-carrier which makes it possible to orient the book in reading according to the angle most favorable to the eyes while maintaining this book tight on the upper and lower edges. to make it easier to keep the pages open.
To this end, the reading light, object of the invention, is characterized in that it comprises an extendable frame, the upper edge of which is fixed in an adjustable and removable manner between two supports or feet, the lower edge being secured to the upper edge by two springs.
In the practical embodiment of the invention, the fixing of the extendable frame is achieved by simply tightening the ends of the upper edge with the wing screws between the upper parts of the supports.
The lower edge of the frame is advantageously constituted by a slat in the form of an angle iron, the ends of which slide along uprights under the influence of springs.
