DE PLAFONDS ET REVETEMENT DE MURS ET PAROIS.
En ce qui concerne la construction, de plus en plus on s'orien- te vers le pré-fabriqué. Diverses raisons motivent les recherches vers la pré-fabrication, la principale est surtout le manque d'ouvriers spéciali- sés tandis qu'au contraire il y a surabondance de main d'oeuvre non spécia- lisée d'où augmentation des chômeurs. Le but de ce brevet est de pouvoir employer le plus possible cette main d'oeuvre non spécialisée, en utilisant des moules afin d'avoir un travail facile et bien défini.
DESCRIPTION.
Plaque pré-fabriquée pour la construction rapide, économique et facile des plafonds et revêtement des murs. Cette Plaque en plâtre ou en tout autre matériau en usage, présente une face vue aussi lisse qu'on le désire, l'autre face est à nervures feuillurées (fig. I, 2 et 3). La forme et les dimensions sont variables, suivant son emploi particulier. Les nervures plus ou moins saillantes servent à donner plus de rigidité à la Plaque tout en gardant une épaisseur moyenne assez réduite, donc solidité et légereté. Les feuillures amenagées tout au pourtour de la Plaque sont de sens contraires "a" et "b" et servent a emboiter les plaques les unes avec les autres de façon à rendre le travail de pose plus facile et plus rapide. La figure 4 montre le mode d'emboîtement, la partie "b" de la Pla- que vient s'appuyer sur la partie "a" de la Plaque précédente.
Les Plaques peuvent être armées de cannes ou de roseaux à l'in- térieur des nervures ; la paille de bois peut être incorporée dans la par- tie générale de la Plaque de façon à augmenter encore la solidité de la Pla- que. Des fils métalliques "F" sont prévus en divers points des nervures (fig.
4); ces fils enroulés autour des cannes pour empecher qu'ils glissent hors de la Plaque, servent à suspendre les plaques aux divers supports bois ou

autre pour la construction de plafonds. La figure 5 montre la manière de suspendre les Plaques aux solives "S". Ensuite les plaques sont scellées entres elles avec du plâtre "P" de façon à donner plus de rigidité à l'en- semble du plafond-.- 'Ce mode de plafond (plafond suspendu') supprime avanta- geusement les lattis, lattes, etc...; ne subissant aucunes déformations n'étant pas cloué comme les précédents matériaux. Les joints apparents ou bouchés au plâtre.
Pour les revêtements il suffit de plaquer les Plaques contre les murs en mettant du plâtre en divers points de la partie des ner- vures, automatiquement les Plaques sont détachées du mur de l'épaisseur des saillies des nervures, donnant une isolation thermique et phonique par immo- bilisation d'un matelas d'air.

As far as construction is concerned, more and more people are moving towards pre-fabricated. DESCRIPTION.
Pre-fabricated plate for the quick, economical and easy construction of ceilings and wall coverings. This plasterboard or any other material in use, has a visible face as smooth as desired, the other face has rebated ribs (fig. I, 2 and 3). The shape and dimensions are variable, depending on its particular use. The more or less protruding ribs serve to give more rigidity to the plate while keeping a fairly small average thickness, therefore strength and lightness. The rabbets provided all around the periphery of the Plate are in opposite directions "a" and "b" and serve to fit the plates together so as to make the installation work easier and faster. Figure 4 shows the interlocking mode, part "b" of the Plate comes to rest on part "a" of the previous Plate.
The Plates can be armed with canes or reeds inside the ribs; the wood straw can be incorporated into the general part of the Plate in order to further increase the strength of the Plate. Metal wires "F" are provided at various points of the ribs (fig.
4); these wires wound around the canes to prevent them from slipping out of the Plate, are used to suspend the plates to the various wooden supports or

other for the construction of ceilings. Figure 5 shows how to hang the Plates from the "S" joists. Then the plates are sealed together with plaster "P" so as to give more rigidity to the whole of the ceiling. - 'This ceiling mode (suspended ceiling') advantageously eliminates laths, slats, etc ...; not undergoing any deformations not being nailed like the previous materials.
