Suivant la présente invention, Inefficacité du travail et les ma- nipulations sont améliorées' grâce aux perfectionnements suivants apportés à cette machine : a) la machine comporte plusieurs brosses animées alternativement ou non d'un mouvement de va et vient perpendiculairement ou obliquement par rapport à la chaîne du tissu.
De plus;,, b) la table servant de support au tissu travaille par les brosses est montée de manière à pouvoir être déplacée vers le tissu de manière régla- ble, ce qui permet de varier à volonté la pression du tissu contre les brosses, et éventuellement de la supprimer totalement. c) la table, au lieu d'être horizontale, comme dans les machines connues, peut recevoir une certaine inclinaison qui peut aller jusqu'à une po- sition veticale; ceci facilite considérablement la surveillance du travail des brosseso
Il est bien entendu que sous la dénomination de "brosses" l'inven- tion entend désigner toutes formes de brosses, par exemple les plaques brosses et toutes garnitures équivalentes en tissu, feutre, caoutchouc., etc.
Le dessin annexé à ce mémoire représente schématiquement, a titre d'exemples une machine conforme à l'invention.

En principe, la machine à ouvrir le duvet des tissus représentée au dessin comporte une table 1 supportée de manière à pouvoir coulisser verti- calement entre des glissières 2 d'un bâti approprié. Le mouvement de levée de la table 1 est réalisé de manière à pouvoir être régler par tous moyens ap- propriés, par exemple par Bielles et manivelles, excentriques, cames, etc. Dans ce but,la table 1 est par exemple portée par un ou des bras centraux 3 montes sur un arbre 4 actionne de la manière désirable.
Au-dessus de la table 1 passe le tissu T, lequel est guidé de ma- nière connue par des rouleaux 5. Perpendiculairement à la chaîne du tissu T peuvent se déplacer dans un mouvement de va et vient approprié des brosses ou des plaques brosses 6. Ces brosses, dans la forme d'exécution représentée au dessin,sont portées chacune par un axe 7 relié par des biellettes 8 aux mane- tons successifs d'un arbre vilebrequin 9, de façon à ce que les brosses soient animées alternativement d'un mouvement de va et vient sur le tissu T (Fige 1).
Ce vilebrequin 9 porté dans des paliers 10 est actionné de toute manière con- venable directement ou par'l'intermédiaire d'une transmission appropriée.
Du fait que la table 1 peut subir un mouvement de levée entre ses glissières 2, elle peut exercer sur le tissu T une pression variable ou même s'en écarter totalement pour le passage des coutures ou tout autre motif. Par suite,l'action des brosses 6 sur la face opposée du tissu T pourra être réglée de manière très simple suivant la nature de ce dernier, ce qui permettra d'a- méliorer le travail des brosses, lesquelles feront ainsi apparaitre avec un fini plus prononcé un dessin ou un motif quelconque sur l'étoffe ou le tissu travaillé.
Au lieu de disposer la table mobile 1 horizontalement comme il est représenté en Fig. 2, on peut avantageusement lui donner une certaine inclinai- son, ainsi que le montre la Fig. 2, ce qui donne une vue plus aisée et plus complète sur le tissu au travail.

In principle, the machine for opening the down of fabrics shown in the drawing comprises a table 1 supported so as to be able to slide vertically between slides 2 of a suitable frame. The lifting movement of the table 1 is carried out in such a way that it can be adjusted by any suitable means, for example by connecting rods and cranks, eccentrics, cams, etc. For this purpose, the table 1 is for example carried by one or more central arms 3 mounted on a shaft 4 actuated in the desirable manner.
The fabric T passes above the table 1, which is guided in a known manner by rollers 5. Perpendicular to the chain of the fabric T can move in an appropriate back and forth movement of the brushes or brush plates 6 These brushes, in the embodiment shown in the drawing, are each carried by an axis 7 connected by connecting rods 8 to the successive crankshafts of a crankshaft 9, so that the brushes are alternately driven by a back and forth movement on the fabric T (Fig. 1).
This crankshaft 9 carried in bearings 10 is actuated in any suitable manner directly or by means of a suitable transmission.
Because the table 1 can undergo a lifting movement between its slides 2, it can exert a variable pressure on the fabric T or even move away from it completely for the passage of the seams or any other pattern. Consequently, the action of the brushes 6 on the opposite face of the fabric T can be adjusted very simply according to the nature of the latter, which will improve the work of the brushes, which will thus appear with a finish. more pronounced any design or pattern on the fabric or fabric worked.
Instead of placing the mobile table 1 horizontally as shown in FIG. 2, it can advantageously be given a certain inclination, as shown in FIG. 2, which gives an easier and more complete view of the fabric at work.
