La présente invention concerne les fauteuils du type'comportant un siège coulissant et un dossier articulé à ce siège et monté à pivot de telle manière qu'il puisse être in- cliné suivant différents angles en tirant le siège qui coulisse sur des guides prévus dans le bâti du fauteuil.
Dans une forme de réalisation de fauteuils de ce type, le siège, de même que le dossier, sont montés de façon coulissante dans des guides prévus dans les côtés du bâti du fauteuil. Ces guides peuvent comporter des fentes pour fixer le dossier et le siège dans différentes positions inclinées.
