Pour permettre un emploi judicieux du balai, il con- vient de pouvoir utiliser en employant des lignes ou autres qui puissent être enlevés et échangés facilement au gré de l'usager.
Pour bien fixer l'objet de l'invention, sans toutefois le limiter dans le dessin annexé:
La figure 1 montre à petite échelle en demi-vue exté- rieure et en demi-coupe un balai réalisé selon l'invention (dans la position de pinçage de l'étoffé).

L'invention comporte essentiellement : une armature en té a dont la partie supérieure tubulaire a1 sert de guide de la douille b recevant le manche qui y sera fixé d'une façon quelconque, une barette fixe g tra- verse la douille h et coulisse dans deux fentes longitudi- nales a2 opposées diamètralement et comportant à une cer- taine hauteur des gorges opposées et en équerre a3.
Un étrier forme des crochets d1 qui sont pris entre l'extrémité de la douille b et une rondelle d'appui e soute- nue et repoussée par un ressort à boudin f logé et prenant appui dans une creusure de l'armature en té a.
L'étrier forme guides verticaux d2 en égard des can- nelures verticales a4 faites dans les côtés de l'armature en té a, ensuite la partie droite d3 se présente en regard de la creusure longitudinale a6 qui sert de berceau et d'en- castrement à l'étoffe ou autre à pihcer en bout de l'arma- ture en té a.
Ainsi constitué, il est aisé d'admettre toute la faci- lité de mise en place ou d'enlèvement du linge1a changer puisqu'il suffit d'une poussée sur le manche b pour déga- ger l'étrier 1 et ensuite le fixer provisoirement par l'en- gageaient de la douille b dans les gorges en équerres 3 de la partie tubulaire a1 (genre baïonnette) pour donner tout le passage voulu à l'engagement du linge, la manoeuvre op- posée libère l'étrier d qui sous l'action du ressort à bou- din f se relève alors en pinçant l'étoffe.
