@ Cette invention concerne les sièges d'enfants et elle a pour but d'améliorer leur construction et d'augmenter leur utilité.
Suivant une caractéristique de l'invention un siège d'enfant comprend un plateau ou tablette à manger, des disposi- tifs permettant de fixer facilement cette tablette au siège et de l'en détacner, et des dispositifs pour fixer le siège sans la tablette au porte-bagage d'une bicyclette, l'espace en- dessous du fond du siège restant pratiquement dégagé pour permet- tre cette fixation.
Le siège peut ainsi être utilisé pour le transport de l'enfant à bicyclette, par exemple pour un pique-nique, et dans ce cas il peut être prévu un appui pour les pieds de 1''enfanta cet appui se fixant facilement au siège quand la tablette à man- ger est enlevée, et ce par les mêmes moyens qui servent à la fi- xation de la tablette.
Suivant une autre caractéristique de l'invention un brancard est prévu pour permettre que le siège, qui peut être muni de roues, puisse être utilisé pour véhiculer l'enfant on puisse servir de voiturette à tous usages. Le siège, dans ce but, comprend une tablette à manger, des moyens permettant de fixer cette tablette au siège et de 1'en détacher, un brancard, des moyens'pour attacher ce brancard au siège et des roues sur lesquelles le siège peut être déplacé Sous la commande' du bran- card.

La Fig. 2 représente une tablette à manger 25, en forme de petite table, fixée au siège de la manière qui vient d'être décrite, les pieds verticaux 26 qui portent la tablette, étant emboîtés dans les douilles 24 du siège pour fixer à celui-ci la tablette en position supportée. Dans la construction représentée les pieds 26 de la tablette à manger sont reliés deux à deux à leurs extrémités supérieures, chaque paire étant en forme d'U renversé et étant fixée à la face inférieure de la tablette par des tasseaux 27 traversés par les branches horizontales 26a des-paires de pieds. Grâce à cette construction de la tablette les paires de pieds en forme d'U peuvent être repliés à plat con- tre la face inférieure de la tablette quand on désire enlever celle-ci du siège et la replier pour le transport.
Un appui-pieds 28 destiné à servir plus particulière- ment .quand le siège est utilisé pour transporter l'enfant à bicyclette, peut-être aisément fixé au siège à l'aide des douilles 24. Cet appui-pieds peut comprendre une tôle emboutie, comme le montre la Fig. 4, des broches ou pieds 30 fixés à cette tôle et susceptibles de s'emboîter dans les douilles 24 du siège de la même manière que les pieds 26 de la tablette, comme indiqué à la Fig. 3. Suivant une variante, l'appui-pieds peut consister en un cadre tubulaire en forme d'étrier. Dans l'un et l'autre cas, il peut être construit de manière à servir non seulement d'appui, mais aussi de garde pour protéger les pieds de l'enfant du contact de la roue ou d'autres parties morbus du cycle.
