"Melaxeur cuiseur combiné . "

"Combined cooker mixer."
The present invention relates to a combined mixer-cooker apparatus intended more particularly for the confectionery, chocolate, candy, etc. industry.
An essential characteristic of the invention consists in that the apparatus comprises a tilting basin by an endless screw provided with a stirrer or stirring device, the control of which is effected by the lower side of the basin, so as to allow a lowered construction of the whole apparatus.
Another characteristic resides in the fact that the elementary apparatus can be combined with a closure bell replacing the ordinary cover, this bell being movable in the vertical direction and in the lateral direction and being able to be connected to a container arranged on the top. the frame of the device and which can communicate alternately in the open air with a

It is understood that the axis of the

agitator sitive passes tightly through the bottoms of these basins. This is effectively done by passing the axis of the agitator through a hollow sleeve mounted so

tight seal in the bottom of the basins and which penetrates to a certain height in the inner basin. The start of the agitator receives its driving force from an electric motor mounted laterally to the frame a.

Referring to Figures t and 4, the muvercle e is replaced here by a dome j mounted on a hollow column h arranged on the bt. 1, and comprising various accessories. Dome 1 fits tightly over the top edge of the basin and hangs in a bracket, so the sleeve can slide
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
along the threaded rod 1 using the handwheel 5. The dome can therefore be raised and lowered and can swing sideways due to the screw thread.
The horn communicates through the conduit m with the column h. This column also carries the connection for the vacuum pump 6, the connection for the third water 7, the connection for the free air 8, the vacuum indicator 9 and the water level 10. The bowl.! ! with the tap p it is possible to add essences to the dough during cooking.
Referring to Figures 5 to 7, the machine control comprises a motor 11 with pulley 12 and drives the pulley 13, on-; the movement is transferred to the primary axis 15 through the intervention of a conical coupling 14. A reducer this speed, formed by the gears 17 and 18 and the primary shaft 15 with the secondary shaft 16, is located arranged in the frame a. The secondary axis transmits by gears 19 and @ 0 the rotational movement to the horizontal control axis 21, which in turn actuates the stirrer 24 through the intervention of the bevel gears 22-23.
The gears 18 of the speed reducer can be wedged alternately with the intervention of the movable wedge 25 moved by the sleeve 26. 27 is the movable part actuated by the lever 3 to trigger the gears 19 and 20.
The combined cooker mixer therefore allows you to cook alternately under vacuum or in the open air. The basin being filled and the dome applied to the opening, the stirrer is set in rotation by engaging the mechanism by lever 1, the speed Ce, the machine being adjusted by lever 2. After running for a few minutes. in the open air, the valve 8 being open, the latter is closed. By opening the tap 8, the cooker mixer is placed in communication with the vacuum pump. to speed up the suction, the vapors are condensed by adding cold water supplied by the tap 7.
