Slipper and its manufacturing process.
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing slippers allowing the complete manufacture on the form, that is to say that the shoe or slipper out of form is completely finished and must no longer undergo any finishing or washing operation, unlike current processes.
According to the invention, there is interposed, between the sole and the insole, only in the interior of the slipper, a layer of felt or other similar material at least one millimeter thick. This intermediate layer, which isolates the foot and the insole from the sole, may or may not be glued to the sole and is trapped and held by the insole made of canvas, fabric, felt, leather, etc. when the edge of the insole meets the edge of the sole and / or of the upper and the galoche.
This meeting can be carried out in any suitable known manner, by staples or by sewing, for example sewn Kneipp.
The appended drawing gives, as an indication, in fig. 1 a

longitudinal vertical section, and in Fig.2 a cross section along II-II of a slipper according to the invention.
1 designates the upper and the boot of the slipper, 2 the sole preferably in leather with a low heel 3, if applicable. 4 is the inner first, in canvas, fabric, felt or leather.
In the example, it is a Kneipp sewn slipper, i.e. where the sole 2, the first 4 and the upturned edge 5 of the upper and the galoche are assembled, all the along the periphery, by a seam involving these three parts and crossing a strip 6, preferably made of leather, which extends all around the slipper, on the edge 5, that is to say on the projecting part of the sole and the first.
Between the insole and the sole, and only inside the slipper, is housed a thickness 7 of felt or other material, glued or not on assembly to the sole and to the insole and held captive directly on assembly without it or need no other manipulation or operation, the slipper removed from the form being completed.
CLAIMS.
1. Slipper characterized in that, between the sole and the insole, is interposed a thickness of felt or other material, which extends over the entire surface of. The sole, inside the slipper, but not s' not extend to the rim of meeting between sernal, first and vamp, this thickness being bonded or not to the insole and to the sole and being kept trapped and immobilized between these two parts.
