    "   Tire-botte   ".

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

     Au lieu des articulations, l'invention orévoit aussi que les plaques sont pourvues de glissières, afin de pouvoir coulisser les unes par rapport aux autres et obtenir ainsi leur raccourcissement pour le transport.

    "Boot tire".

   The present invention relates to a boot-puller of the kind used for removing boots and consisting of a board provided with a wide notch or notch giving grip on the heel.

   Currently, the boot pullers of this model are made in one piece and therefore constitute a small board or even a block of relatively large length, which makes it difficult to transport them in the pocket or in a briefcase as used, for example. , by hunters.

   The object of the present invention is to avoid this drawback and, to this end, the boot-puller according to the invention consists of two or more plates articulated to one another, which makes it possible to fold them up and thus reduce the size of the boot-puller.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

     Instead of the articulations, the invention also provides that the plates are provided with slides, in order to be able to slide relative to each other and thus obtain their shortening for transport.

   In order to clarify the design of the boot-puller according to the invention, the description below of an embodiment of such a boot-lift, with reference to the figures of the appended drawing, is given without limitation.

   FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional elevation of a boot puller according to the invention, unfolded.

   FIG. 2 is a longitudinal section of the dreary boot-puller, the latter having been folded up.

   Figure 3 is a plan view of the boot-puller shown in Figures 1 and 2.

   The boot-puller shown in the drawing comprises, mainly, a board 1, the biased end of which 2 is placed on the floor, and a board 3 provided at its front end with a large notch 4, giving grip on the heel of the boot, and also provided with two tenons 5 which rest on the ground. The boards 1 and 3 are connected by a hinge 6 and in the board 1 are, moreover, provided orifices 7 in which the tenons 5 of the board 3 are housed, when the boot puller is being folded back (Figure 2).

   In its unfolded position, as shown in FIG. 1, the boot-puller according to the invention therefore exhibits any desired strength, constituting a rigid assembly. By folding the two boards 1 and 3 one over the other, the length of the boot-puller is reduced by half and it is therefore easy for the user to take it away.

   It is obvious that the boot-puller according to the invention can be made of any suitable material and that instead of tenons 5, other supports can be provided, the modification.

 supports causing / obviously also the modification fication / the shape of the orifices or recesses 7, without departing from the spirit of the invention.
