La présente invention est relative à un appareil permet- tant de tamiser rapidement et proprement les cendres de foyers ordinaires ou de chaudières de chauffage central.Cet appareil se distingue essentiellement des appareils connus par la simplicité de sa fabrication et la facilité de son fonctionnement.
L'appareil,conforme à l'invention,est constitué par un récipient en forme de trémie,en métal galvanisé par exemple,dont la partie supérieure comprend un plateau susceptible d'être sou- mis à un mouvement alternatif limité et supportant un bac de construction spéciale destiné à recevoir les cendres à tamiser.
Suivant l'invention également,le récipient en forme de trémie se prolonge par une buselure de longueur appropriée que 1' on introduit dans le bac ou la poubelle destinée à recevoir les eendres passées.Cette poubelle est avantageusement renforcée par une cuirasse en tôle ondulée,qui lui permet de résister aux chocs auxquels elle est généralement soumise lors de sa vidange.

Comme le montre le dessin,l'appareil est essentiellement constitue par un récipient,en métal galvanisé de préférence,com- portant une partie supérieure I de forme rectangulaire pourvu de poignées 13 et surmontant un cône ou trémie 2,lcquel se prolonge par une buselure 3,rectangulaire également dans le cas présent.
A une certaine hauteur,la partie supérieure I du réci- pient est traversée par un axe 4 porté par les parois de ce der- nier et susceptible de recevoir au moyen d'un bras extérieur 5 un mouvement de rotation limité par des butées 6 fixées au réci- pient de part et d'autre du bras 5.
A l'intérieur du récipient est fixé à l'axe 4 un plateau 7,dont les dimensions sont légère- ment inférieures à celles du récipient;ce plateau est percé de trous 7' judicieusement prévus sur les longs côtés de façon à permettre d'y faire pénétrer à volonté les extrémités d'étriers 8 destinés à retenir sur le dit plateau le bac 9 formant tamis contenant les cendres à tamiser.Suivant les dimensions de ce bac 9,on rapprochera ou écartera plus ou moins les deux étriers 8 l' un de l'autre.
D'autre part le bac 9,qui peut être celui qui dans le poêle ou la chaudière reçoit les cendres,est construit de manière à pouvoir êtreà volonté élargi ou allongé. Dans ce but,il est formé de quatre parties 9a,9b,9c et 9d en.métal perforé,qui peu- vent s'assembler par des vis II,ou autres moyens,en prenant appui l'une sur l'autre,comme le montre la Fig.2.Ceci facilite consi- dérablement la fabrication en ce sens que le nombre d'appareils à tamiser différents peut être limité,puisqu'un appareil de di- mensions déterminées peut être utilisé pour des bacs de diffé- rentes grandeurs.

Le bac 9 étant chargé de cendres du foyer et l'appareil fermé par son.couvercle 10,il suffit d'imprimer au bras 5 un mouvement alternatif pour tamiser les cendres sans être incommo- dé par les poussières,qui s'évacueront par la buselure inférieure

Il est avantageux de faire supporter l'appareil par le bac ou poubelle généralement utilisé pour le transport à l'exté- rieur des cendres et autres détritus à enlever par le service / de la voirie.Ce bac représenté en II,en Fig.I,est utilement en- touré sur une certaine hauteur par une ceinture ou cuirasse 12 en tôle ondulée qui augmente considérablement sa durée de service.
Bien entendu on pourrait utiliser un bac de forme quelcon- que,comme il est également évident que la forme et les dimensions de l'appareil à tamiser peuvent être modifiées suivant les cir- constances.
