The whole fat filtering function waste is therefore produced on only two levels, allowing particularly simple implementation.
- each coarse filter forms a grid 22 provided with bars.
- the gap between these bars is maximum, while ensuring the blocking of large waste.
- the orientation of the bars of a grid is advantageously substantially perpendicular to the orientation of the bars of the other grid.
- openings 16 in FIG. 1 are particularly important when a certain number of large garbage remains blocked in the basket forming the filtering device, limiting the circulation of washing water to the bottom of the basket.
- These openings are arranged to block large waste while allowing better flow of washing water.
- they can be shaped elongated, in an orientation substantially perpendicular to the height of the large waste filtering device, so as not to allow large elongated waste to pass, elongated waste arriving in the device in an orientation substantially parallel to that of the height of the device.
- these openings are arranged over the entire height of the large waste filtering device.
- FIGS. 3A and 3B show in section the blade assemblies and grid formed according to the example of the filtering device of FIGS. 1 and 2.
- the blades 21 in this example form half-moons, overlapping slightly. They are extended by grids 22, the orientations of bars of these grids being substantially perpendicular.
- the upper grid 22 is locally closed (reference 31). Indeed, depending on the geometry of the large waste filtering device and that of the drain well, it may be necessary to locally seal off the means of coarse filtering and / or side openings to prevent passage a large, elongated waste in the free space between the filter basket and the drain well.
- the top of the device can form a kind of funnel, facilitating the training of large waste inside the filter device 14.
- the shape of the top of the basket 17 extends that of the main filter 11.
- this basket top 17 is pierced with openings 18 allowing better washing water flow. These openings are advantageously of slightly smaller dimensions than large waste in order to block their passage at the top of the basket forming the device 14.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for filtering large waste for a filtering system fitted with a washing water evacuation tank appliance washing machine, for example of the dishwasher type or washing machine.
In this type of device, the term “drainage tank” means the tank placed at the bottom of the appliance, fitted with a filtering system, and including in particular the cycling system for circulating filtered water during the wash cycle, as well as the drain system washing water, allowing the washing water to be emptied during the cycle emptying. The filtering system has different filter elements, each having a specific function in the washing and drain the appliance. The tank comprises in particular, in its system of drain, a well for draining dirt entrained by the washing water, this well may be a laterally closed tube or a filter element. When from the appliance drain cycle, dirt is removed by means of from a drain pump to a drain channel. A filtering device 'large waste' can be placed in the drain well to protect in particular the drain pump against a certain type of soiling, hereinafter called 'large waste', which could lead to obstruction or damage to the pump. However, it should not prevent water of washing to circulate with a sufficient flow, so as not to hinder the sequence of the appliance operating cycles.
A solution is proposed in BOSCH patent FR 2714282, which implements a large waste filtering device in the form of a tube open on both sides, the envelope of this tube being closed, and in which means for diverting the current are arranged. These means of deflection, constructed in the form of transverse fins arranged way to cut the direction of the current, allow to stop the big long-type waste (for example toothpicks, bones, etc.). But above all, the arrangement of these deflection means (advantageously fins inclined downwards), combined with the structure of the filter, forming a tube whose the envelope is closed and which is opened downwards, produces a movement washing liquid circulating in the filter which allows in particular cause large surface soft waste (for example the skins of milk, vegetables, etc.), waste that is safe for the pump but which could clog the large waste filter.
However, the downward acceleration of the wash water flow thus obtained, may cause other types of waste likely, them, to clog the pump. This is the case for example of pieces of leaves aluminum, for example yogurt lids, or large waste round shape (for example olive pits), or other large types waste such as shards of glass, pieces of shells, etc.
To overcome this drawback, the present invention provides a filtering device having substantially the shape of a basket, making it possible to collect all types of large waste, without hampering the evacuation of wash water.
More specifically, it is a large waste filtering device for a filtering system fitted to a water evacuation tank washing of a household appliance, the tank comprising in particular a dirt drain entrained by water from washing, the large waste filtering device being placed in the emptying and including a baffle to stop large waste from elongated shape, the filtering device being characterized in that it has substantially the shape of a basket, in that it is provided with lateral openings arranged to block large waste while allowing better flow of washing water, and in that the baffle is formed of two substantially horizontal blades placed in the bottom of the basket, extending from the internal walls of the device towards the interior of the device, spaced vertically and overlapping partially.
In addition to its effectiveness in terms of filtering large waste, the device according to the invention, particularly simple in terms of construction, maintains a sufficient flow of wash water in the well emptying and ensures ergonomic and hygienic use for the user since all the waste will remain blocked in the basket.
- la figure 1, un exemple de système de filtrage d'un lave-vaisselle, comportant un dispositif de filtrage gros déchets selon l'invention;
- la figure 2, une coupe du dispositif de filtrage gros déchets de la figure 1;
- Figure 1, an example of a filtering system of a dishwasher, comprising a large waste filtering device according to the invention;
- Figure 2, a section of the large waste filter device of Figure 1;
- FIGS. 3A and 3B, sections of elements of the large waste filtering device of FIG. 1.
In these figures, the homologous elements are referenced by the same benchmarks.
Figure 1 shows an example of a
The large waste filtering device according to the invention makes it possible to collect all types of large waste. By 'large waste' we mean a certain types of soiling, which could lead to blockage or deterioration in particular of the drain pump. The size and shape of these large wastes are therefore functions of the pumps used as well as lines going to these pumps. In particular, the filtering device according to the invention includes a baffle making it possible to stop large waste from elongated shape (toothpick, splinters of wood, etc.). This chicane is according to the invention formed of two blades placed in the bottom of the basket and extending from the inner walls of the basket towards the inside of the basket, as shown in section in Figure 2. Advantageously, these blades are substantially horizontal, which reinforces the blocking of this type of waste. The chicane, thus placed in the bottom of the basket, allows the collection of large waste, especially of the long type, without risk that they could fall from the basket formed by the device according to the invention, in particular when the latter is manipulated by the user. Else part, the blades, denoted 21, partially overlap thus ensuring a very good efficiency in blocking elongated waste. Indeed, no large elongated waste, however fine, can slip between the blades. Advantageously, in the case of a basket with a substantially cross section cylindrical, or oval as in the example in Figure 1, each of these blades close off part of the basket cross section substantially greater than half the section of the device. This allows to realize the chicane effect in an area of the basket where the width is greatest. Thus, the passage section of the washing liquid will be larger and its better flow. According to this example, the blades are spaced in the height direction of the device from a predetermined distance, sufficiently small to block large waste, other than type waste elongated, while allowing a maximum water flow rate of washing. For example, in a household dishwasher application, this distance could be about half a centimeter, which allows stop large waste such as olive pits, broken glass or shells, etc. can clog or damage the type of pump generally used in this type of device.
The realization of the filtering device according to the invention is therefore particularly simple, while being very effective in stopping all types of large waste likely to damage the pump. The basket section can be any. It is for example of cylindrical or oval shape, substantially constant, at least over the entire lower part of the basket. The realization of the baffle on two levels allows a realization particularly simple filtering device, for example by means of a single molded part or by means of two molded parts which suffices to assemble.
Advantageously, in addition to the presence of this baffle, the device for
large waste filtering according to the invention is closed by filtering means
coarse to collect any type of large waste other than large
long-type waste. By 'coarse' we mean a filtering leaving
pass the maximum amount of washing water while blocking large waste. These
coarse filtering means in particular to block all coarse
aluminum foil, paper type waste or round type waste
olive oil, etc. Advantageously, and as illustrated in the figure
2, these filtering means consist of two coarse filters
each extending one of the
In order to ensure a better flow of the washing water through the large waste filtering device, this is provided with side openings, denoted 16 in FIG. 1. These openings are particularly important when a certain number of large garbage remains blocked in the basket forming the filtering device, limiting the circulation of washing water to the bottom of the basket. These openings are arranged to block large waste while allowing better flow of washing water. Through example, as illustrated in figure 1, they can be shaped elongated, in an orientation substantially perpendicular to the height of the large waste filtering device, so as not to allow large elongated waste to pass, elongated waste arriving in the device in an orientation substantially parallel to that of the height of the device. Advantageously, these openings are arranged over the entire height of the large waste filtering device.
puisse passer dans le puits de vidange.FIGS. 3A and 3B show in section the blade assemblies and
grid formed according to the example of the filtering device of FIGS. 1 and 2. The
leur passage au niveau du haut du panier formant le dispositif 14.According to an alternative embodiment, the top of the device, noted 17 on the
