La présente invention est relative à une cafetière-filtre et à des accessoires pour de telles cafetières.
La cafetière, objet de la présente invention, est composée de deux cylindres coulissant l'un dans l'autre, le cylindre intérieur formant filtre et le cylindre extérieur formant récipient à, liquide,c'est-à-dire cafetière preprement dite, le cylindre extérieur comportant des moyens tels que, de préférence des bu- tées fixes, pour maintenir le cylindre-filtre enfoncé dans le cylindre extérieur jusqu'à une petite distance du fond de ce dernier, le cylindre extérieur comportant en outre, d'autres moyens, tels que de préférence des crochets pour maintenir ce cylindre filtre, retiré hors du cylindre extérieur en presque totalité.
Au moyen de cette cafetière-filtre, il est possible de préparer le café de trois manières différentes, ainsi qu'expliqué ci-après:

Aux figuras 1 et 2, la cafetière-filtre se compose d'un cy- lindre extérieur 2 ou cafetière proprement dite, dans lequel cou- lisse à frottement doux un cylindre intérieur ou filtre 3 muni d'un couvercle 4. Le cylindre extérieur 2 comporte, à l'intérieur deux butées 5 pour maintenir le filtre 3 à une petite distance du fond 6, dans la position représentée figure 1 Le cylindre 2 comporte également deux ou plusieurs crochets 7 pivotants, qui servent à tenir le filtre 3 dans la position représentée figure 2.
Lorsque le filtre 3 est dans la position de la figure 1, ces oro- chets sont retirés vers l'extérieur. A l'aide de cette cafetière, on peut préparer le café en introduisant d'abord celui-ci dans le filtre 3, placé dans la position de la figure 1, sur la surface filtrante Ba, puis verser l'eau bouillante, laisser infuser un certain temps et ensuite retirer le filtre 3 et le placer dans la position de la figure 2 et laisser égoutter.
Pour éviter que du liquide ne soit répandu, le cylindre inté- rieur ou filtre 3 est muni de rainures verticales 8. Suivant une autre manière de préparer le café, à l'aide de cette cafetière, on place le filtre 3 dans la position de la figure 2, la cafetiè- re proprement dite 2 ccntenant l'eau nécessaire tandis que le filtre 3 contient le café. Comme représenté à cette figure, le cylindre 3 est d'un diamètre sensiblement moindre que le cylindre extérieur 2 et il est muni d'un manchon 30 qui coulisse à frottement doux dans le cylindre extérieur 2, par sa partie inférieur 30a, tandis que sa partie supérieure 30b vient se raccorder au cylindre intérieur 3 au-dessus d'un filtre latéral 31 pratiqué dans les parois-latérales du cylindre intérieur.
La partie inférieure du manchon 30 en contact, à frottement doux avec le cylindre extérieur 2 assure le maintient fixe du cylindre intérieur 3 et simultanément il peut servir à maintenir le cylindre intérieur à une certaine distance au-dessus du fond du cylindre 2 grâce à une rigole 32 solidaire du cylindre exté- rieur et qui est susceptible de recevoir la base 30a du manchon 30.
Grâce à cette disposition, la préparation du café s'effec- tue comme suit:
L'eau bout dans le cylindre extérieur. Les deux cylindres commniquent par la cheminée 33 qui peut être continue sur toute la périphérie ou composée de plusieurs tubes séparés par des parois.
L'eau, plus chaude dans le cylindre extérieur, en contact direct avec le foyer, a tendance à monter pour entrer dans le cylindre/ intérieur contenant le café, en suivant le trajet indiqué par les flèches.
Il faut régler le niveau de l'eau dans la cafetière et opérer au moment voulu la mise au feu ou le retrait de la cafetière de manière que l'afflux de liquide dans le cylindre intérieur ne soit pas trop important ou trop rapide, pour éviter que le café ne déborde hors du cylindre intérieur et cela en tenant compte du fait que, l'afflux en question sera, en général plus rapide que l'écoulement au travers du filtre à la base du cylindre intérieur et compte tenin des dimensions relatives des éléments constitutifs de la cafetière filtre.

Pour diviser cette masse, on prévuit d'adjoindre au filtre l'accessoire représenté figure 5.
Cet accessoire est constitué par une cloche rigide 11 percée de trous relativement grands et qui ne laisse substiuer entre elle 3t les parois du filtre qu'un espace relatigvemont réduit 12, pcur recevoir le café moulu. Le café est ainsi mieux atteint par l'eau et on peut ex extraire le maximum d'essences.
La cloche 11 qui repose sur la surface filtrante 3a est maintenue en place, par exemple, par une tige 13 coulissant dans un oeillet solidaire du filtre.
A la figura 6. on a représenté un autre accessoire de cafetière, pouvant dêtre ubilisé en lieu et place du filtre 3 représente figure 1 à 4. Cet accessoire consiste essentiellennt en une poche 14 en tissu filtrant et en une pince 15 susceptible de

Quand l'eau bout, on laisse tomber la poche 14 dans l'eau bouillante, en accrochant l'oeillet au crochet 18.
Si l'on désire une décoction, on laisse bouillir un instant, ou si on désire une intrusion, on retire du feu et on laisse infuser.
On accrocher ensuite à nouveau en 19 l'oeillet 17, pour re- tirer le café hors de l'eau, et le café est prêt.
Au lieu d'une poche en tissu filtrant, il est évident qu'on peut prévoir une capacité ou récipient métallique percé de trous filtrants, ce qui évite la nécessité de prévoir une pince, le dit récipient pouvant être réalisé en deux hémisphères vissées en- semble et accrochées à l'extrémité de la chainette.
Il est évident que 1' invention n'est pas limitée aux exemples décrits et représentés et que bien des modifications peuvent être apportées à la forme, les dimensions, les salières constitutives et le nombre des éléments entrant dans sa réalisa.- , tien, sans pour celà sortir du cadre du brevet.
