Mémoire descriptif à l'appui de la demande de brevet pour: "SUPPORT POUR ROULEAUX DE PAPIER DE TOILETTE ET AUTRES Il
La présente invention concerne les supports pour rouleaux de papier de toilette, ou autres.
Le support suivant l'invention est un support pivotant, fermé solidement sur lui-même par un système de verrouillage approprié, éventuellement susceptible d'empêcher le vol du rouleau,-par exemple un verrouillage à cadenas, ou autre, - et en même temps facilement déverrouillable, en vue du remplacement aisé et rapide d'un rouleau vide par un rouleau plein,- ce support étant combiné avec des moyens susceptibles d'empêcher un dévidement involontaire du rouleau (par exemple par une traction trop brusque),-ces moyens pouvant servir en même temps à l'arr@che- ment du papier 'et, éventuellement faire partie du dit support lui-même.
De plus, le support suivant l'inventin est concu de manière à permettre un dévidement et un arrachement du papier,

soit par le haut soit par le bas(par rapport au rouleau),soit par le haut ou le bas, à volonté.
Le support suivant l'invention est désigné tout spécialement pour les toilettes des lieux publics,tels que, par exemples: gares, grands magasins, restaurants, hôtels, et autres, mais il se prête 'coût aussi bien aux usages en lieux particuliers.
Le système de support suivant la présente invention offre à côté d'une grande solidité et sûreté contre le vol et le gaspillage de papier, une grande simplicité de fabrication,et la possibilité d'une exécution sous forme de nombreux modèles différents, à partir des modèles les plus simples et d'un prix peu élevé ,au moyen d'une planchette en bois, ou en tôle, et de simples fils de fer, ou autre métal, jusqu'aux modèles de luxe,peints, chromés, nickelés, émaillés etc..
Les dessins annexés, représentent schématiquement et à titre d'exemple non limitatif, une série de modes d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention à s avoir :

Suivant les figures 1 et 2 le support se .compose essentiellement d'une tringle coudée 1,2 à laquelle est articulée- en

une seconde tringle 4, la tringle 1,2 étant suspendue par sa partie 5 de maniére permanente à l'oreille 6, solidaire de la planchette 7, tandis que la tringle 4 est suspendue par sa partie en forme de crochet approprié 8 de manière détachable et automatiquement verrouillable à l'oreille 9, également solidaire de la planchette 7. En vue du verrouillage ou blocage automatique l'oreille 9 est munie d'une fente oblique 10, dans ou hors de laquelle le crochet 9 ne peut; être introduit ou sorti qu'en soulevant le système 1,2,3,4 d'une valeur angulaire appropriée Ó (voir figure 2).
Un cadenas 11, ou autre verrou approprié, attaché à l'oreille 9 par exemple en 12 permet d'assurer le système 1,2,3,4 en état fermé sur lui-même, afin d'empêcher le vol du rouleau de papier 13 placé sur 2 soit directement, soit; avec interposition d'un petit rouleau en bois 14.
On conçoit aisément que les rouleaux 14 et 13 sont placés sur ou enlevés de 2 en décrochant 4 de 9 et en glissant les rouleaux respectifs avec leur ouverture centrale sur 4,8,3,2
Pour empêcher la rotation du rouleau lors de l'arrache- ment du papier, on peut prévoir par la planchette 7 des aspé- rités 15(par exemple sous forme d'une plaquette métallique rainurée, ou analogue, rapportée).
Au lieu des aspérités 15, ou conjointement avec elles, on peut se servir, dans le même but, d'un organe de freinage 16,par exemple en forme d'un fil métallique, ou d'une barre, convenablement plié(voir figure 1,2,8,9,10,11,13), ou d'une plaque plate (figure 6 et 7) ou cintrée(figure 12),- reposant par son propre poids sur le pouleau 13 et muni d'ouvertures convenable 17,18 (fente;, trous) aux extrémités, au moyen desquelles cet organe. 16 est guidé sur les tiges I et 4 de manière à ne pas empêcher louverture du système 1 à 9).

articulée par un prolongement 5' s'étendant également par l'ouverture de l'oreille 9 et formant au delà de cette dernière un oeillet 5" destiné à recevoir un cadenas 11, ou analogue. Sui- vant la figure 3 la tringle -4 articulée à 2 en 3- s'engage au moyen de son oeillet convenablement allongé 8' sur 5' du côté intérieur de l'oreille 9, et suivant la figure 4 du côté extérieur de la dite oreille.
Dans le premier cas, l'oreille 9 re- çoit 5' dans une fente du genre de la fente 10 (voir figure 2), et 5' peut être coudé en 5"' ,pour obtenir une fermeture du gemre décrit par rapport aux figures I et 2, tandis que dans le cas de la figure 4 le prolongement 5' peut passer en 9 par un simple trou.
Suivant la figure 5 le système 1,5',4 ouvert vers le bas, est formé d'une seule pièce, suspendue de manière permanente et pivotante par 6 et 9 à 7, en formant à ses extrémités inférieures l'oeillet 1' et l'oeillet 4' ,ce dernier étant convenablement allongé, ces oeillets étant destinés à recevoir de manière détachable la tringle 2' à oeillets de retenue 2" ,le dernier pouvant recevoir un cande@s 11 ou autre moyen de verrouillage.
Il est à remarquer due dans tous les systèmes décrits dans la présente spécification le cadenas n'est pas indispensable, ces systèmes fonctionnant aussi bien sans cadenas, ou moyens de verrouillage équivalents.
Suivant les figures 14,15,=---------le système de support, qui peut être l'un quelconque des systèmes décrias plus haut, est combiné avec un frein agissant automatiquement sur le rouleau surtout au moment de l'arrachement d'un morceau de papier.
Suivant les figures 14 et 15 .représentant un frein dit peur arrachement par le dessus, ce frein est constitué par un é- trier 19, 30,31..qui est articulé en 22 des oreilles supplémentaires telles que par exemples 61,9',eu reposant par son propre poids, par l'intermédiaire de 20, sur. le rouleau de papier 13,

et présente ,ou forme en 23 une lage ou partie crénelée dirigée par exemple radialement par rapport au dit rouleau.Il est évident qu'en arrachant le papier sur la lame ou nartie crénelée 23, la partie 20 presse le rouleau 13 contre .7 et l'empêche ainsi de tourner.
La figure 16 représente une variante constructive de la fig. 5 ou la tige 2' est remplacée -car un ressort à boudin rigide 25 de diamètre extérieur légèrement inférieur au cylindre en bois 14 et dont les extrémités sont comme dans la figure 5,l'une 41 retenue par la boucle I' de la tige 1. ,l'autre 42 après avoir été introduite dans la boucle 4' est retenue nar un cadenas 11.
Dans ce modèle comme dans celui de la figure 17 le frein 16 ne figure pas.Les oreilles 6 et 9 sont remplacées par des demiooussinets 24 et 43.
La, figure 17 n'est qu'une variante de la fig. 5 comportant aussi des coussinets 24 et 43 pour retenir la tringle 5' .Dans ce modèle la tige 26 à la place d'avoir une boucle de retenue 2" comme dans la fig.5 possède deux replis à angle droit en sens contraire formant l'organe de retenue 40.
Les figures 18 et 19 se rapportent à un dispositif à verrouillage automatique permettant le remplacement du rouleau ,que lorsque ce dernier est employé d'où impossibilité de vol du rouleau. A cet effet la tige 29 @ articulée sur le support 43 , est soudée ou fixée par tout autre moyen en 30 à un tube 27, et en 31 à un autre tube 32 comportant dans sa partie cylindrique une fenêtre ou.fente 33. L'autre tige 28 est engagée nar sa branohe 37 à travers le support ±µ.dans le tube 27 et par son autre branche 34 dans le tube 32.
L'extrémité de cet-ce branche 34 possède une fente dans laquelle est engagée et fixée par exemple par un rivet l'extrémité d'une branche d'un ressort en V, 35 dont l'autre extrémité est susceptible de s'engager dans la fente 33 et de bloquer ainsi la tige 28 lorsque le cylindre de carton 38 sur lequel est enroulé le papier a été introduit au préalable sur le tube 32.
Ainsi, lorsque le rouleau de papier 13est épuisé, -14 il feut

Arracher ou couper le carton 38, ce qui permet par la poussée du doigt sur l'extraite 36 de soulever ce-le-ci et en tirant laté- ralement sur la tige 28 de retirer celle-ci des 'cubes 27 et 32.
On Deut alors introduire sur le tube 32, un nouveau rouleau nuis, introduite la tige 28 ,dont l'extrémité 36 glissera d'abord sur la périphérie interne du tube 32 pour finalement s'engager dans la fente 33 et bloquer le système .Au lieu de disposer une lame élastique 35 on peut constituer celle-ci par l'extrémité même de la. branche 34 préalablement amincie et traitée en vue de lui tonner l'élasticité nécessaire.
Suivant la figure 20 le support est constitué par un étrier coudé 44,45,46,47,48 suspendu à 7 de manière permanente en 49 et muni d'oeillets 50 destinés à recevoir la tige porte- rouleau 2',2",2"' (du genre décrit par rapport à la figure 5) éventuellement susceptible d'être verrouillée par un cadenas 11, ou par un moyen équivalent.Il est évident qu'en arrachant le pa- pier par le haut,sur la partie crénelée ou lame 47, o n presse le rouleau 13 cantre 7 en l'empêchant ainsi de tourner.
Il va de soi que l'objet de la présente invention se prête à un grand nombre de variantes d'exécution sans que l'on s'écar- te de l'invention proprement dite. Ainsi par exemple l'oreille 6 peut être constituée elle-même par un mécanisme de verrouil- lage par exemple genre cadenas, dans lequel il suffira d'intro- duire par un ou des endroits appropriés quelconques, l'extré- mité convenablement formée ou façonnée( par exemple avec cran d'arrêt) de la tringle correspondante,- par exemple 4,- du support, pour qu'elle soit verrouillée automatiquement et de ma- nière pivotable en 6, son déverrouillage ne pouvant alors se faire qu'à l'aide d'une clef ou d'un autre instrument ad hoc.

The present invention relates to supports for rolls of toilet paper, or the like.
The support according to the invention is a pivoting support, securely closed on itself by an appropriate locking system, possibly capable of preventing the theft of the roll, -for example a padlock locking, or the like, - and at the same time easily unlockable, for the easy and rapid replacement of an empty roll by a full roll, - this support being combined with means capable of preventing unintentional unwinding of the roll (for example by too sudden a pull), - these means which can serve at the same time for tearing off the paper and possibly forming part of said support itself.
In addition, the support according to the invention is designed so as to allow unwinding and tearing of the paper,

either from the top or from the bottom (in relation to the roller), or from the top or the bottom, at will.
The support according to the invention is especially designed for toilets in public places, such as, for example: stations, department stores, restaurants, hotels, and the like, but it lends itself to the cost as well for use in particular places.
The support system according to the present invention offers besides a great solidity and security against theft and waste of paper, a great simplicity of manufacture, and the possibility of an execution in the form of many different models, from the simplest models and of a low price, by means of a wooden board, or sheet metal, and simple iron wires, or other metal, up to the luxury models, painted, chromed, nickel-plated, enamelled etc ..

According to Figures 1 and 2, the support consists essentially of a bent rod 1,2 to which is articulated in

a second rod 4, the rod 1, 2 being suspended by its part 5 permanently to the ear 6, integral with the board 7, while the rod 4 is suspended by its part in the form of an appropriate hook 8 in a detachable manner and automatically lockable to the ear 9, also integral with the board 7. For automatic locking or blocking the ear 9 is provided with an oblique slot 10, in or out of which the hook 9 cannot; be introduced or taken out only by lifting the system 1,2,3,4 by an appropriate angular value Ó (see figure 2).

The end of this branch 34 has a slot in which is engaged and fixed for example by a rivet the end of a branch of a V-spring, 35 whose other end is capable of engaging in the slot 33 and thus block the rod 28 when the cardboard cylinder 38 on which the paper is wound has been introduced beforehand on the tube 32.
