<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

"WIRE-POSE PLOW STOCK @U POSE-C # BLE"
The present invention relates to a prop being mounted on a draining plow frame or on an ordinary plow frame, making it possible to deposit in the ground, at the suitable depth, a bare metal wire for electroculture or a telephone or telegraph wire or cable. , electric, etc ...
This etanon, due to its very low thickness: 8 to 10 m / m. approximately, requires a relatively low tensile force to trace a vertical bleeding in the ground, It also has the advantage, still due to its very small thickness, of allowing the walls of the bleeding to meet quickly and to establish a quick and perfect contact between the ground and the bare wire for Electroculture.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
By way of example, two embodiments of this invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which:
Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of a prop in elevation *
Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section taken along the line A A of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a cut; vertical made along line B B in fig. 1.
The: Fig 4 shows in side elevation a second embodiment.
Fig. 5 is a horizontal section along C C of fig 4.
The apparatus in question comprises in the example shown in fig. 1 to 3, the prop itself consisting of two sheets: one. !! provided with a bevel al, the other b behind the previous one. These two sheets are assembled by tenon ± and mortise d. The mortise d made in the sheet a is deeper than the protrusion of the tenon a and therefore leaves a void d1 or groove going from the upper part to the lower part of the prop and in which the wire or cable can slide. e previously wound on the drum f.
The lower part of the sheet b is reduced to the thickness bl (see fig. 3) and, on either side of this sheet, two thin sheets ± are riveted, so as to provide a groove b2 for the passage of the wire or cable e.
The sheet b also has a rounded b3 to facilitate this passage. At the front, the two sheets are braced by a plate h of thickness equal to bl.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The total thickness of the two sheets g and bl is equal to the thickness of the sheets b, a.
The upper part of the prop is shown mounted on a drain plow frame.
To deposit the wire in the ground, it suffices to pass the end of this wire from top to bottom in the groove d1, b2 and then to attach the end of said wire to a stake.
The plow being in the digging position, under the effect of the traction, this plow moves forward, the prop enters the ground, the wire unwinds from the drum f, slides into the groove d1, b2 and is deposited at the bottom of the bleeding opened by the stanchion.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 4 and 5 the prop is established so as to avoid sharp angles detrimental to the conservation of the reinforcement of the cable or of the insulation of the wire by allowing this cable or this wire to move freely during the laying while by guiding it to the change of position by means of a small grooved pulley placed at the lower part of the device.
As can be seen in fig. 4 and 5, the improved seal comprises two uprights a b leaving between them an interval or groove! several centimeters and connected by two cheeks - here, in sheet metal, forming spacers. The front edge of the front pillar a is bevelled, as shown in al fig.5.
Inside the hollow part or groove d thus formed, the wire or the cable e can move freely as it unwinds from the coil f.
At the lower part of the stanchion and at the
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
The interior of the hollow part d is also arranged a small grooved pulley j transforming the sliding friction of the cable or wire. !!. in a rolling friction intended to reduce the traction necessary for the cable decidedly and consequently to avoid jerks during installation *
The relative position of the small pulley j, with respect to the inner groove d of the prop and to the carrying spool f of the cable placed on the frame. 1, is also determined by the condition of making an angle close to 90 in sight to avoid tension in the reinforcement or the insulation of the cable when it passes over the pulley.
The shapes, details, accessories, materials and dimensions of this apparatus system can of course vary, without changing the principle of the invention in any way.
