GROUPE UlUTAIRE CHAUFFE A L'HUILE 81!:T PRODUCTEUR D'EAU CHAUDE POUR INSTALLATIONS DE CHAUFFAGE PAR L'EAU CHAUDE ET EMPLOIS ANALOGUES.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 1 vue en coupe transversale avec coupe partielle du groupe en question; Fig, 2,, vue en coupe suivant a a de la fig.l;
Fig. 3 vue en coupe suivant b b de la fig.l.
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
30 aveo le robinet à air 10; 55 désigne des cloisons verticales de répartition de la flamme, qui sont disposées en forme d'éven- tail dans le brùleur; 36 est un volet à suie adjoint à l'un des cotés de la chaudière ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

OIL HEATED GROUP 81!: T PRODUCER OF HOT WATER FOR HOT WATER HEATING SYSTEMS AND SIMILAR JOBS.
The present invention relates to a boiler for producing hot water for heating installations, bathrooms or the like, and forming one unit with the hearth part, while comprising - including all the devices necessary for these purposes such as air pump, various reservoirs for the aeration and heating agent such as for example crude mineral oil or petroleum, as well as the piping , the oven valves, the taps and the burner (s).
The group can, thanks to its construction gathered on itself; be mounted in the most suitable place in a dwelling, for example, in the anteroom, in the bathroom
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
or in the kitchen.
An embodiment of the object of this invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, in particular:
Fig. 1 cross-sectional view with partial section of the group in question; Fig, 2 ,, sectional view along a a of fig.l;
Fig. 3 sectional view along b b of fig.l.
In these views, 1 denotes a sheet metal cylinder which will preferably rest on feet 2; 3 is the bottom of this cylinder and 4 designates a separating partition placed at the top of the latter: this forms a closed container 5 which is the one containing air under pressure and connected to an air pump 6; piston rod 7 thereof is moved by acting on a lever 8 or other equivalent accessory. From the air container 5 leaves a pipe 9 leading to a valve 10 for adjusting the flow at the outlet of the pressurized air.
In the top of the cylinder the st further disposed a dividing wall 11; thus it is created, above the air receptacle 5, another receptacle 12 which is the receptor of the burner product, the valve 10 is in communication, through the pipe 38, with the top of the fuel receptacle 12.
13 denotes a pipe end for filling with fuel (which will for example be heavy or crude oil); 14 denotes a pipe which runs from approximately the bottom of the fuel tank 12 and is closed by a tap 15; 16 designates openings in the top of the cylinder to make up the combustion air which is to be delivered therein; 17 denotes a canopy covering cylinder 1 and in which radial slots 18 are perforated through which combustion air can also flow; 19 is a disc which can be turned by operating a handle 20 and in which slits are formed which correspond to slits 18.
It is therefore possible, by rotating this disc 19, to cover more or
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
the slots 18 are less completely, which results in the possibility of adjusting the supply of the combustion air: 21 designates a boiler whose cross section may for example be quadrangular or circular, boiler with two envelopes 21 and 22 between which there is a circulation of water which is brought there by a water pipe 23 and is then directed by the pipe 24 either to heat radiators or to other devices of use of this kind, The boiler is surrounded by an insulating casing 25.
The casing is extended by protruding appendages 26 directed inwardly into the path of the heating gases and of oblique position. The upper walls of these appendages 26 bulge upwards from the middle (fig.lll) and this is why the heated water can quickly come out of these appendages: which greatly accelerates the circulation, and consequently increases the effective performance of the group.
28 denotes an oil burner which is fan-shaped and is held in communication by a tau 54 with the valve 29.
From the tap 15 leaves a pipe 31 leading to a container
32 which is attached to the top of the burner 28 and serves for preheating the fuel. From this preheating device 32 leaves a pipe 33 going to the tuaou 34 which serves to connect the valve 29 with the burner 28. This valve communicates by a channel or by a pipe.
30 with air valve 10; 55 denotes vertical flame distribution partitions, which are arranged in the form of a fan in the burner; 36 is a soot shutter attached to one of the sides of the boiler;
it is possible to provide an ignition hole with a valve fitted in the soot damper itself ;, or if not, it is necessary to adapt one to some other suitable place (this accessory is not shown in the drawing.)
When you want the group to operate, for example, as a hot water heating system, you open the tap serving the water pipe 23; which causes the arrival of water. So we pump air into container 5, follow us
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
opens the air valve 10. which pressurizes the fuel in the container 12.
This being the case, the fuel valve 15 is opened which causes this fuel to flow through the conduits 14 and 31 for its introduction into the first heating device 32, then for its passage to the pipe 34 through the pipe 33 and its discharge through an injection nozzle to drive it into the burner 28; at the same time the tap 29 is open, whereby pressurized air is transmitted through the pipes 30 and 34 in a quantity such as to cause the burner 28 to obtain an easily flammable mixture, a very clear flame and free of smoke thereby being emitted. When the pre-heater 32 has become hot, the fuel undergoes carburization or gasification in its interior and the valve
29 can be completely closed.
By operating the valve 15, the flame is adjusted, while the inlet of the combustion air is regulated by the valve 19-20. the flame and the combustion gases sweep along the appendages 26 of the water chamber, which heats the water. after which, they escape to the outside air through the landfill
