Mold for injection molding.
The object of the present invention is a mold for injection molding, particularly for lining by injection of half-shells. Its advantage over known molds lies in the simplicity and rapidity of the manipulations to place the half-pad to be filled by injection in the mold and unmold the finished half-pad, as well as in the possibility of using it for half-padding. pads of different dimensions.
The appended drawing shows by way of example one embodiment of the invention.
The nozzle of an injection molding machine enters the conical tap hole b of a vertically arranged casting plate c. To this is attached a semi-nucleus

cylindrical e corresponding to the hollow of a half-pad provided with its gasket and the frustoconical lower end of which engages' in a conical recess of a semi-cylindrical closure part g, at a depth such as that there remains a narrow semicircular slit h of conical shape.
The closure part g is fixed on a sliding support i.
On, the upper face of the semi-cylindrical core slides a semi-circular head gl fixed to a support 11 which can slide vertically.
The half-pad d to be filled by injection is placed concentrically with the semi-cylindrical core e on the closure part g pressed against the casting plate c in any suitable manner, for example by means of the hand lever k acting by through the eccentric m. Then the head g1 is pressed downwards, also in any suitable manner, for example by means of the hand lever kl and the eccentric ml. In this way the half-shell is closed inwardly and at both ends, and the packing metal can be injected through the nozzle a and the semi-circular slot h.
Immediately after the solidification of the packing metal, the mold can be opened by moving the hand levers k and kl backwards and the half-shell with its packing can be removed.
