Appareil de pulvérisation d'un parfum ou d'un désinfectant dans les water-closets.
L'objet de la présente invention est un appareil pour la pulvérisation de parfums ou de désinfectants liquides dans les water-closets, dans lequel le récipient à liquide et la pompe à piston qui pulvérise le produit en petite quantité sont montés ensemble, le cylindre de la pompe formant poignée pour actionner la chasse d'eau, de sorte que le pulvérisateur soit mis en fonc- tion lorsqu'on actionne la chasse.
Le dessin représente un exemple d'exécution de l'invention.
La fig. 1 montre le nouveau pulvérisateur en coupe longitudinale tandis que les figures 2 et 3 montrent la disposition du pulvé- risateur à la chaine de traction de la chasse. La fige 4 montre la manière d'actionner le pulvérisateur,

trémité supérieure contre le couvercle supérieur f du cylin- dre b. La tige g du piston,=qui n'est sollicitée qu'en trac- tion et qui peut par conséquent âtre faite d'un morceau de fil métallique, forme un crochet h à son extrémité supérieure sortant à travers le couvercle f.
Le cylindre de pompe b est fermé à son extrémité infé- rieure par une paroi k dans laquelle sont prévue une ou plu- sieurs ouvertures ici. Cette paroi k a simplement pour objet de permettre la fixation sur elle d'un tuyau mince j recourbé à angle droit dont l'extrémité inférieure atteint presque au fond du récipient a tandis que son extrémité supérieure pénè- tre dans une tubulure i prévue à l'extrémité inférieure du cylindre b. a
Le récipient/est raccordé au cylindre de pompe b de fagon à pouvoir s'en détacher facilement. A cette fin le ré- cipient a est pourvu d'une ouverture circulaire et le bord de cette ouverture présente un taraudage n fig. 1, dans le- quel on peut visser l'extrémité inférieure du cylindre b qui est filetée.
Pour remplir de parfum ou de désinfectant le récipient a, on le dévisse du cylindre de pompe b. Le liquide peut alors y être versé par une ouverture suffisamment grande après quoi cette ouverture de remplissage est refermée en revissant le récipient a sur le cylindre de pompe b. Le raccord facilement détachable entre le récipient a et le cylindre b présente l' avantage d'éviter une ouverture de remplissage spéciale avec fermeture particulière, rendant ainsi la fabrication moins coûteuse tandis que d'autre part elle permet de remplir le récipient a jusqu'à son bord.
Le pulvérisateur décrit se fixe comme on le voit dans les fig. 2 et 3 au lieu de la poignée ordinaire de l'organe de commande de la chasse d'eau, par exemple à la chaine m, en

accrochant simplement le crochet h dans l'extrémité de cet organe de commande. Comme on le voit dans la fig. 4, le cy- lindre de pompe b sert alors de poignée proprement dite pour la main qui, lorsqu'on exerce la traction, s'appuie sur le récipient a.
Lorsque le pulvérisateur servant de poignée pour la chasse est abaissé dans le sens de la flèche I, (figs.2 et 3), le piston c effectue par rapport au cylindre b sa course d'as- piration dans le sens de la flèche II, fig. 1, ce qui a pour effet de ommprimer le ressort d et d'aspirer de l'air exte- rieur à travers la tubulure i.
Lorsqu'on relâche la poignée de la chasse le ressort d ainsi bandé se détend et déplace le cylindre de pompe b ainsi que le récipient a vers le haut, dans le sens contraire à la flèche I (figs. 2 et 3) ce qui fait que le piston c chasse l'air vers le dehors en un jet violent à travers la tubulure i, L'augmentation de pression d'air agit à travers les ouvertures kl sur le liquide qui se trouve dans le récipient a et en chasse une petite partie à travers le petit tube j dans la tubulure i d'où il est ex- pulsé, finement pulvérisé, par le jet d'air.
Le pulvérisateur ne fonctionne donc qu'au moment ou on a lâché la poignée de la chasse. Ceci empêche que des parti- cules du liquide pulvérisé atteignent la main ou le bras de 12 personne qui actionne la chasse. Dans le même but, le pulvéri- sateur est suspendu de manière à ce que sa tubulure se trouve du côté opposé à la personne qui s'en sert (fig. 4).
Pour empêcher que le piston c puisse tourner dans le cy- lindre b ce qui pourrait diriger la tubulure i du coté de la personne qui actionne la chasse, la tige de piston g, fig. l, peut avoir une forme autre que ronde, par exemple une section carrée, l'ouverture de passage pour la tige g ménagée dans le couvercle f devant naturellement avoir une forme correspondante.

When the sprayer serving as handle for flushing is lowered in the direction of arrow I, (figs. 2 and 3), the piston c performs its suction stroke in relation to the cylinder b in the direction of the arrow II , fig. 1, which has the effect of compressing the spring d and sucking outside air through the tubing i.
When the flush handle is released, the spring d thus loaded relaxes and moves the pump cylinder b as well as the container a upwards, in the direction opposite to the arrow I (figs. 2 and 3) which does that the piston c pushes the air out in a violent jet through the tubing i, The increase in air pressure acts through the openings kl on the liquid which is in the container a and expels a small one part through the small tube j into the tubing i from where it is expelled, finely pulverized, by the air jet.
The sprayer therefore does not work until the flush handle has been released. This prevents particles of the sprayed liquid from reaching the hand or arm of the person operating the flush.
